Why are there jails and prisons?
Justice, must be upheld, and so we have judges, to uphold civil laws.
Punishment consists of confinement.
Why is there hell, same reason as given
above, but hell is not a temporal punishment, it is eternal.

Pastor, hell is God's idea of punishment, and confinement, but why
should it be forever?”
Many do not realize
why this punishment should be forever, it should be forever
