Where He Leads Me

I can hear my Savior calling,
I can hear my Savior calling,
I can hear my Savior callings,
Take thy cross and follow, follow Me.

Refrain:
Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow,
I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.

I’ll go with Him through the waters,
I’ll go with Him through the waters,
I’ll go with Him through the waters,
I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.

I’ll go with Him through the garden,
I’ll go with Him through the garden,
I’ll go with Him through the garden,
I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.

I’ll go with Him to dark Calv’ry,
I’ll go with Him to dark Calv’ry,
I’ll go with Him to dark Calv’ry,
I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.

I’ll go with Him to the judgment,
I’ll go with Him to the judgment,
I’ll go with Him to the judgment,
I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.

He will give me grace and glory,
He will give me grace and glory,
He will give me grace and glory,
And go with me, with me all the way.

Bible Questions Answered:
“A friend of mine says there is no trinity as such, all are a manifestation of one God. Is this Jesus only?..”
Bill/ Phoenix, Arizona U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:
This is a third century heresy, known as Modalism.  Sabellius*, taught taught that, The Father was the manifestation of God the creator and giver of the commandments, or laws. The Son was in incarnation and the work of redemption. The Holy Spirit, was at work in grace, regeneration, and sanctification.

*Sabellius was a theologian and priest from the 3rd century. He denied the trinity, and was, excommunicated by council in Alexandria.

Now, what does The Word tell us about The Trinity?

Genesis 1:26 KJV
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion..."

Genesis 11:7 KJV (Babel)
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

Isaiah 6:8 KJV
Also I heard the voice of The Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Isaiah 42:1 NKJV (Trinity)
Behold, My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

Isaiah 48:16 KJV (Trinity)
Come ye near unto Me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now The Lord God, and His Spirit, hath sent Me.

Matthew 3:16,17 KJV (Trinity)
16 And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and He saw The Spirit Of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Matthew 28:18-20 KJV (Great Commission given by Jesus) (Trinity)
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
Amen.

Luke 1:35 KJV (Trinity)
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

John 3:17 KJV (Father and Son)
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 4:23 KJV (Trinity)
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship The Father in Spirit and in Truth (John14:6)ed.: for The Father seeketh such to worship Him.

John 11:41,42 KJV (Father and Son)
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. and Jesus lifted up His eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou has heard Me.
42 And I knew that thou hearest Me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it that they may believe that thou hast sent Me.

John 14:16,17,31 KJV (Trinity)
16 And I will pray The Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever;
17 Even The Spirit Of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
31 But that the world may know that I (Jesus) love The Father; and as The Father gave Me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

John 15:26 KJV (Trinity)
But when The Comforter is come, whom I (Jesus) will send unto you from The Father, even The Spirit Of Truth, which proceedeth from The Father, He shall testify of Me:

Romans 1:3,4 KJV (Trinity)
3 Concerning His (God The Father) Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
4 And declared to be The Son Of God with power, according to The Spirit Of Holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

I Corinthians 6:11 KJV (Trinity)
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of The Lord Jesus, and by The Spirit of our God.

II Corinthians 13:14 KJV (Trinity)
The grace of The Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of The Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

Galatians 4:6 KJV (Trinity)
And because ye are sons, God (The Father) hath sent forth The Spirit Of His Son into your hearts, crying Abba, Father.

Colossians 2:2 KJV (Father and Son)
That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of The Father, and of Christ;

I Thessalonians 3:13 KJV (Father and Son)
To the end He may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

Hebrews 9:14 KJV (Trinity)
How much more shall The Blood Of Christ, who through The Eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve The Living God?

I John 2:23-27 NLT (Trinity)
22 And who is the great liar? The one who says that Jesus is not The Christ. Such people are anti-Christs, for they have denied The Father and The Son.
23 Anyone who denies The Son doesn't have The Father either. But anyone who confesses The Son has The Father also.
24 So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will continue to live in fellowship with The Son and with The Father.
25 And in this fellowship we enjoy the eternal life He promised us.
26 I have written these things to you because you need to be aware of those who want to lead you astray.
27 but you have received The Holy Spirit, and He lives within you, so you don't need anyone to teach you what is true.
For The Spirit teaches you all things, and what He teaches is true- it is not a lie. So continue in what He has taught you, and continue to live in Christ.

I John 5:6--8 KJV
6 This is He that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. and it is The Spirit that beareth witness, because The Spirit is Truth..
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, The Father, The Word, and The Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, The Spirit, and The Water, and The Blood: and these three agree in one.

Prayer:

Romans 12:1,2 NLT
1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him.
2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Bible Lesson: Scriptures For Special Occasions: When Worn And Weary.

Bible Text:

Psalm 55:1-23 NLT
1 Listen to my prayer, O God. Do not ignore my cry for help!
2 Please listen and answer me, for I am overwhelmed by my troubles.
3 My enemies shout at me, making loud and wicked threats. They bring trouble on me, hunting me down in their anger.
4 My heart is in anguish. The terror of death overpowers me.
5 Fear and trembling overwhelm me. I Can't stop shaking.
6 Oh, how I wish I had wings like a dove; then I would fly away and rest!
7 I would fly far away to the quiet of the wilderness.
8 How quickly I would escape - far away from this wild storm of hatred.
9 Destroy them, Lord, and confuse their speech, for I see violence and strife in the city.
10 Its walls are patrolled day and night against invaders, but the real danger is wickedness within the city.
11 Murder ad robbery are everywhere there; threats and cheating are rampant in the streets.
12 It is not an enemy who taunts - me I could bear that. It is not my foes who so arrogantly insult me - I could have hidden from them.
13 Instead, it is you - my equal, my companion and close friend.
14 What good fellowship we enjoyed as we walked together to the house of God.
15 Let death seize my enemies by surprise; Let the grave swallow them alive, for evil makes it home within them.
16 But I will call on God, and The Lord will rescue me.
17 Morning, noon, and night I plead aloud in my distress, and The Lord hears my voice.
18 H rescues me and keeps me safe from the battle waged against me, even though many still oppose me.
19 God, who is King forever, will hear me and will humble them. (Interlude) for my enemies refuse to change their ways; they do not fear God.
20 As for this friend of mine, he betrayed me; he broke his promises.
21 His words are as smooth as cream, but in his heart is war. His words are as soothing as lotion, but underneath are daggers!
22 Give your burdens to The Lord, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the Godly to slip and fall.
23 But you, O God, will send the wicked down to the pit of destruction. Murderers and liars will die young, but I am trusting you to save me.

The Apostle Paul, knew what it was to be weary in the good fight of faith.
He admonished us...

Ephesians 6:10-18 KJV
10 Finally my brethren, be strong in The Lord, and in the power of His might.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with Truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of The Gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation,, and the sword of The Spirit, which is The Word Of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Prayer:

Isaiah 40:28-31 KJV
28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that The Everlasting God, The Lord The Creator Of The Ends Of The Earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding.

30 even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

Bible Questions Answered:
“...we all are gods, even the bible says so such as Gen. 3:5 and Psalm 82:6. We all have power within...”
Tracy/ San Francisco, California U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Genesis 3:5 KJV (Satan)
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be a gods, knowing good and evil.

Psalm 82:6 KJV
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of The Most High.

Our wonderful Bible; tells us that there is one God in three persons, God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit.

There is no other God, than our Living God, and He is Holy!

Psalm 22:3 KJV
But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

Psalm 99:9 KJV
Exalt The Lord our God, and worship at His holy hill; for The Lord our God is holy;

Isaiah 6:3 KJV
And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, Holy, Holy, is The Lord Of Hosts: the whole earth is full /f His glory.

Isaiah 57:15 KJV
For thus saith The High And Lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high ad holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Habakkuk 1:12 KJV
Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord my God, mine Holy One?..."

Revelation 15:4 KJV
Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
God is Holy, but man is sinful.

Mankind is sinful, and lost:
Matthew 12:34 KJV
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Luke 11:13 KJV
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give The Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?

Mark 7:20-23 KJV
20 And He said, that which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, and evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Luke 11:42-52 KJV
42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.
45 Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto Him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also.
46 And He said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.
47 Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchers of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
48 Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchers.
49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:
50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.
52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

A life in sin, is in spiritual blindness:
Matthew 15:14, 23:16-26 KJV
Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead t he blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

23:16-26 KJV
16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
17 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
18 And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
21 and whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by Him that dwelleth therein.
22 and he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by The Throne Of God, and By Him that sitteth thereon.
23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

Jesus described sin as a sickness:
Matthew 9:12 KJV
But when Jesus heard that, He said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

Sin described as bondage:
John 8:34 KJV
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

Living in sin, is living in darkness:
John 3:19-21/ 8:12/ 12:35-46 KJV
19 And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil.
20 for every one that doeth evil hateth The Light, neither cometh to The Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth Truth cometh to The Light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

8:12 KJV
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am The Light Of The World: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have The Light Of Life.

12:35-46 KJV
35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is The Light with you. Walk while ye have the Light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
36 While ye have Light, believe in The Light, that ye may be the children of Light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide Himself from them.
37 But though He had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on Him:
38 That the saying of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of The Lord been revealed?
39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Isaiah said again, 40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I would heal them.
41 These tings said Isaiah when he saw His glory, an spake of Him.
42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on Him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put of of the synagogue:
43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on Me, believeth not on Me, but on Him that sent Me.
45 And he that seeth Me seeth Him that sent Me.
46 I am come a Light into the world, that whosoever believeth on Me should not abide in darkness.

God knows the sinful thoughts of men:
Matthew 5:28 KJV
But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

All things are known to The Lord:
Matthew 10:26/ 22:18 KJV
Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

22:18 KJV
But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye Me, ye hypocrites?

Luke 6:8 KJV
But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand. Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.

John 4:17-19 KJV
17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18 for thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
19 the woman saith unto Him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

Man is lost in sin, in need of repentance and faith in the risen Lord.
Mark 1:15 KJV
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe The Gospel.

John 3:3,5,7 KJV
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of The Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Is man divine, are men gods? The Word Of God, tells us The Truth!
Mankind is lost in the need of a Savior, and that Savior is The Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer:

Psalm 86:5 KJV
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

Isaiah 1:18 KJV
Come now, and let us reason together, saith The Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Isaiah 55:6 KJV
Seek ye The Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near:

John 3:3,16,17,36 KJV
3 Jesus answered and said unto him (Nicodemus), Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting Life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
36 He that believeth on The Son hath everlasting Life: and he that believeth not The Son shall not see Life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 5:24 KJV
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting Life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto Life.

Verily, Verily

What A Friend We Have In Jesus

What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged—
Take it to The Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful,
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
Take it to The Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy-laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge—
Take it to The Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to The Lord in prayer!
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.

Blessed Savior, Thou hast promised
Thou wilt all our burdens bear;
May we ever, Lord, be bringing
All to Thee in earnest prayer.
Soon in glory bright, unclouded,
There will be no need for prayer—
Rapture, praise, and endless worship
Will be our sweet portion there.

Prayer:

Psalm 23:1-6 KJV
1 The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of The Lord for ever.
