Bible Questions Answered:
“If a person thinks they are going down the right road, by living a good life and doing good deeds to help others, are you saying, they will be condemned?...”
Arthur/ Inkster, Michigan U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

It's not what man says that counts, it is what The Word Of God says, that counts!
Here is a text, that comes from The Lord, Himself.

Mark 10:17-23 NLT (The Rich Man)
17 As Jesus was starting out on His way to Jerusalem, a man came running up to Him, knelt down, and asked, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

18 “Why do you call Me good?” Jesus asked. “Only God is truly good.

19 But to answer your question, you know the commandments: ‘You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. You must not cheat anyone. Honor your father and mother.’”

20 “Teacher,” the man replied, “I’ve obeyed all these commandments since I was young.”

21 Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. “There is still one thing you haven’t done,” He told him. “Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”
22 At this the man’s face fell, and he went away sad, for he had many possessions.
23 Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God!”

Here came running to Jesus, a clean cut young man, who was successful in life, respected, and a leader among his peers.
He reverenced The Lord Jesus, kneeling down before Him, calling Him, “Good Teacher.”

Jeremiah 17:9 KJV
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Proverbs 14:12 KJV
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

18 “Why do you call Me good?” Jesus asked. “Only God is truly good.

Jesus knew that this, the young man, himself also believed that, and yet He also knew that the young man was not convinced that He was God.

Jesus, as God, knew only too well, which of the ten commandments, the young man held to, and to which of them, he did not!

The young man had boasted he was someone who ...

Honored his mother and father
Commandment 5
Exodus 20:12 KJV
Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

Was Not A Murder
Commandment 6
Exodus 20:13 KJV
Thou shalt not kill.

Was Not An Adulterer
Commandment 7
Exodus 20:14 KJV
Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Was Not A Thief
Commandment 8
Exodus 20:15 KJV
Thou shalt not steal.

Was Not A False Witness, Cheating someone
Commandment 9
Exodus 20:16 KJV
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

The Commandments, Jesus did not ask the young man about.

Commandment 1
Exodus 20:3 KJV
Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

Commandment 2
Exodus 20:4-6 KJV
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I The Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments.

Commandment 3
Exodus 20:7 KJV
Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Commandment 4
Exodus 20:8-11 KJV
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of The Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days The Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore The Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Commandment 10
Exodus 20:17 KJV
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's.

17 As Jesus was starting out on His way to Jerusalem, a man came running up to Him, knelt down, and asked, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

The rich young ruler, walked away from The Good Teacher, but not away from God, for if he had believed that Jesus was God, he would have to have had to obey Him.

Jesus, in His opinion, was a teacher, and he thought “I will never do that!”

23 Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God!”

What was the young man's sin, it was the sin of idolatry, money was his first and foremost love interest.

Commandment 1
Exodus 20:3 KJV
Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

The Word:

I Kings 8:46 KJV
"...for there is no man that sinneth not..."

Isaiah 53:6 KJV
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and The Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 64:6 KJV
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Matthew 19:17 KJV (Jesus said)
"And He said unto him...there is none good but one, that is, God..."

Titus 3:4,5 NLT
4 But—When God our Savior revealed His kindness and love,
5 He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through The Holy Spirit.

I John 1:8 KJV
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Since Adam, and Eve, mankind has come under the curse of sin.

Romans 3:10,23 KJV
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

This is God's universe.

Isaiah 45:5 KJV
"I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside Me..."

He is the Creator.

Colossians 1:16,17 KJV
16 For by Him (Christ) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him:
17And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.

Revelation 4:11 KJV
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Because this is God's universe, He has the right to tell us what to do to be able to come to Him.
John 14:6 KJV
Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

John 10:9 KJV
"I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved..."

John 8:20-24 KJV
20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as He taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on Him; for his hour was not yet come.
21 Then said Jesus again unto them, I go My way, and ye shall seek Me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
22 Then said the Jews, Will He kill Himself? because He saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
23 And He said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins.

Acts 4:12 KJV
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Man's morality, or goodness, saves no one!
Man, at his best is only somewhat good, and certainly not holy!

Romans 3:23 KJV
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Our living God, hates sin, anything sinful, cannot approach Him.

Habakkuk 1:13 KJV
"Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity..."

Habakkuk 1:13 NLT
"But you are pure and cannot stand the sight of evil..."

Man's only Salvation is by The Blood Of His Precious Son The Lord Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 1:18 KJV
Come now, and let us reason together, saith The Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Revelation 7:13,14 KJV
13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in The Blood Of The Lamb.

If someone rejects, God's way of salvation, they are lost.
To be lost is to be in a place of rejecting God, and His Love Gift.

To be lost, means to exist eternally in a place prepared for the devil and his angels, a place of torment, and eternal separation from God.

Mark 9:43-48 KJV (Jesus is speaking metaphorically)
43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Luke 12:4,5 KJV
4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: fear Him, which after He hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, fear Him.

Luke 13:27,28 KJV
27 But He shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from Me, all ye workers of iniquity.
28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth..."

There is salvation, by one means only, the precious Blood Of Christ.

Romans 3:19,20 NLT
19 Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses, and to show that the entire world is guilty before God.
20 For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.

Ephesians 2:8,9 KJV
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is The Gift Of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. (And this includes all man's pious works!)

Galatians 2:16,21 KJV
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ,
even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ,
and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

And may we add, Communion, church membership, baptism, confirmation, dedication, etc. etc. etc.
If salvation came by these....then Christ is dead in vain.

Galatians 3:11 KJV
But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

Will good people go to hell?
People, who reject the Savior, are not good, but evil, regardless of the deeds they have done or are doing on earth.

II Corinthians 6:2 KJV
(For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Salvation Prayer
Jesus, be merciful to me a sinner. I confess and forsake my sins, and ask you to forgive me, and make me a child of God, for you have said, “...whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Acts 2:21) Thank you for dying for me, taking my place in judgment, that I might be pardoned. I take you as the Savior, and Lord (Master) of my life. Help me to read your word, confess you, and live for you.
Amen

John 1:12 KJVBut as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:

John 3:16,17 KJV
16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 6:37 KJV “...him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”

Acts 2:21 KJVAnd it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Acts 4:12 KJVNeither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Romans 6:23 KJV For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Romans 10:9l, 10 KJV
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Bible Questions Answered:
“Pastor, I've never seen so much commercials, from needy organizations asking for money. They must think everyone got religion, and will give tons of money. Is this revival?...”
Shirley/ Chicago, Illinois U. S. A.

Bible Answer:

This is tax time (April 15th, in America). And to fall into lower tax brackets, (so they may keep more of their money), people give money to worthwhile (Tax-Deductible) causes.

In an election year, it's hard to know who we hear from the most, politicians or charitable organizations.

How wonderful it would be indeed, if all the giving was from, hearts made right by The Living God.

Bible Texts:

Generosity:

Deuteronomy 15:7,8,11 KJV
7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which The Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
8 But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.

Deuteronomy 16:17 KJV
Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of The Lord thy God which He hath given thee.

Psalm 37:21 KJV
The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

Psalm 112:9 NLT
They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor.

Psalm 145:15,16 KJV
15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.
16 Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

Proverbs 11:17,25 NLT
17 Your kindness will reward you, but your cruelty will destroy you
25 The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

Proverbs 19:17 NLT
If you help the poor, you are lending to The Lord— and He will repay you!

Proverbs 22:9 NLT
Blessed are those who are generous, because they feed the poor.

Ecclesiastes 11:1,2 KJV
1 Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.
2 Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.

Matthew 5:41,42 NKJV
41 And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
42 Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.

Matthew 10:8 KJV
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Matthew 19:21 KJV (The Rich Man)
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow Me.

Matthew 25:34-36,40 KJV
34 Then shall The King say unto them on His right hand, Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave Me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took Me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed Me: I was sick, and ye visited Me: I was in prison, and ye came unto Me.
40 And The King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me.

Luke 6:30,38 NLT
30 Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back.
38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”

Luke 21:1-4 KJV
1 And He looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 And He saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3 And He said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

Acts 20:35 KJV
I have shewed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of The Lord Jesus, how He said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

II Corinthians 8:9 NLT
You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that by His poverty He could make you rich.

II Corinthians 9:6-11 NLT
6 Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.
7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. 9 As The Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”
10 For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, He will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.
11 Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God.

Prayer:

Colossians 3:23,24 NLT
23 Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for The Lord rather than for people.
24 Remember that The Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that The Master you are serving is Christ.

Bible Lesson: Messianic Prophecies, Fulfilled, In Jesus Christ. Betrayed For Thirty Pieces Of Silver.

Bible Text:

Prophecy:

Zechariah 11:12,13 NLT B.C. 487
12 And I said to them, “If you like, give me my wages, whatever I am worth; but only if you want to.” So they counted out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.
13 And The Lord said to me, “Throw it to the potter”—this magnificent sum at which they valued me! So I took the thirty coins and threw them to the potter in the Temple of The Lord.

Fulfilled:

Matthew 26:14,15 KJV A.D.33
14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,
15 And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver Him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

The Word:

Exodus 21:32 KJV (Price of a slave)
But if the ox gores a slave, either male or female, the animal’s owner must pay the slave’s owner thirty silver coins, and the ox must be stoned.

Matthew 27:3,9,10 NLT
3 When Judas, who had betrayed Him, realized that Jesus had been condemned to die, he was filled with remorse. So he took the thirty pieces of silver back to the leading priests and the elders.
9 This fulfilled the prophecy of Jeremiah that says, “They tookb the thirty pieces of silver— the price at which He was valued by the people of Israel,
10 and purchased the potter’s field, as The LORD directed.”

John 13:18-32 NLT (Jesus Predicts His Betrayal)
18 “I am not saying these things to all of you; I know the ones I have chosen. But this fulfills The Scripture that says, ‘The one who eats My food has turned against Me.’
19 I tell you this beforehand, so that when it happens you will believe that I am The Messiah.
20 I tell you The Truth, anyone who welcomes My Messenger is welcoming Me, and anyone who welcomes Me is welcoming The Father who sent Me.”
21 Now Jesus was deeply troubled, and He exclaimed, “I tell you The Truth, one of you will betray Me!”
22 The disciples looked at each other, wondering whom He could mean. 23 The disciple Jesus loved was sitting next to Jesus at the table. 24 Simon Peter motioned to him to ask, “Who’s He talking about?”
25 So that disciple leaned over to Jesus and asked, “Lord, who is it?”
26 Jesus responded, “It is the one to whom I give the bread I dip in the bowl.” And when He had dipped it, He gave it to Judas, son of Simon Iscariot.
27 When Judas had eaten the bread, Satan entered into him. Then Jesus told him, “Hurry and do what you’re going to do.”
28 None of the others at the table knew what Jesus meant.
29 Since Judas was their treasurer, some thought Jesus was telling him to go and pay for the food or to give some money to the poor.
30 So Judas left at once, going out into the night.
31 As soon as Judas left the room, Jesus said, “The time has come for The Son Of Man to enter into His glory, and God will be glorified because of Him.
32 And since God receives glory because of The Son, He will give His own glory to The Son, and He will do so at once.

Acts 1:12-20 NLT
12 Then the apostles returned to Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, a distance of half a mile.
13 When they arrived, they went to the upstairs room of the house where they were staying. Here are the names of those who were present: Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James (son of Alphaeus), Simon (the zealot), and Judas (son of James).
14 They all met together and were constantly united in prayer, along with Mary the mother of Jesus, several other women, and the brothers of Jesus.
15 During this time, when about 120 believers were together in one place, Peter stood up and addressed them.
16 “Brothers,” he said, “the Scriptures had to be fulfilled concerning Judas, who guided those who arrested Jesus. This was predicted long ago by The Holy Spirit, speaking through King David. 17 Judas was one of us and shared in the ministry with us.”
18 (Judas had bought a field with the money he received for his treachery. Falling headfirst there, his body split open, spilling out all his intestines.
19 The news of his death spread to all the people of Jerusalem, and they gave the place the Aramaic name Akeldama, which means “Field of Blood.”)
20 Peter continued, “This was written in the book of Psalms, where it says, ‘Let his home become desolate, with no one living in it.’ It also says, ‘Let someone else take his position.’

Psalm 69:25 KJV
Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.

Psalm 109:8 KJV
Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

Prayer:

Mark 14:21 KJV
The Son Of Man indeed goeth, as it is written of Him: but woe> to that man by whom The Son Of Man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.

Bible Questions Answered:
“...no matter what you do for these people, they are never thankful...”

Deborah/ Middletown, New Jersey U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Ingratitude:

Deuteronomy 8:11 KJV
11 “...Beware that in your plenty you do not forget The Lord your God and disobey His commands, regulations, and decrees that I am giving you today.
12 For when you have become full and prosperous and have built fine homes to live in,
13 and when your flocks and herds have become very large and your silver and gold have multiplied along with everything else, be careful!
14 Do not become proud at that time and forget The Lord your God..."

Luke 17:11-19 NLT (Ten Healed of Leprosy)
11 As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, He reached the border between Galilee and Samaria.
12 As He entered a village there, ten men with leprosy stood at a distance,
13 crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14 He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy.
15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!”
16 He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking Him for what He had done. This man was a Samaritan.
17 Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine?
18 Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” 19 And Jesus said to the man, “Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you.”

Romans 1:21 KJV
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

II Timothy 3:1-5 KJV
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of Godliness, but denying The Power thereof: from such turn away.

Our world, is filled with unthankful people. What a mark of distinction, that Christians are a people full of gratitude to The Lord.

The Remedy:

Psalms 100:1-5 KJV
1 Make a joyful noise unto The Lord, all ye lands.
2 Serve The Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing.
3 Know ye that The Lord He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.
5 For The Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His Truth endureth to all generations.

I Corinthians 15:57 KJV
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

II Corinthians 2:14 KJV
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest The savor of His knowledge by us in every place.

II Corinthians 9:15 NLT
Thank God for this Gift (The Lord Jesus) too wonderful for words!

Galatians 3:17 KJV
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of The Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and The Father by Him

Philippians 4:6 KJV
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Colossians 3:15-17 NLT
15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
16 Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom He gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.
17 And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of The Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God The Father.

I Thessalonians 5:8 KJV
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Hebrews 12:28 NLT
Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping Him with holy fear and awe.

Revelation 11:16,17 KJV
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshiped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

Come, Ye Thankful People, Come

Come, ye thankful people, come,
Raise the song of harvest home;
All is safely gathered in,
Ere the winter storms begin;
God Our Maker doth provide
For our wants to be supplied;
Come to God’s own temple, come,
Raise the song of harvest home.

All the world is God’s own field,
Fruit unto His praise to yield;
Wheat and tares together sown,
Unto joy or sorrow grown;
First the blade, and then the ear,
Then the full corn shall appear:
Lord Of Harvest, grant that we
Wholesome grain and pure may be.

For The Lord our God shall come,
And shall take His harvest home;
From His field shall in that day
All offenses purge away;
Give His angels charge at last
In the fire the tares to cast;
But the fruitful ears to store
In His garner evermore.

Even so, Lord, quickly come,
Bring Thy final harvest home;
Gather Thou Thy people in,
Free from sorrow, free from sin,
There, forever purified,
In Thy garner to abide;
Come, with all Thine angels come,
Raise the glorious harvest home.

23 And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau's hands: so he blessed him.
24 And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.

Genesis 37:31-35 KJV (Joseph's brothers)
31 And they took Joseph's coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood;
32 And they sent the coat of many colors, and they brought it to their father; and said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy son's coat or no.
33 And he knew it, and said, It is my son's coat; an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces.
34 And Jacob rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days.

Joshua 2:3,4 KJV (Rahab)

4 And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:

II kings 5:21-23 KJV (Naaman)
21 So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well?
22 And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.
23 And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bare them before him.

Matthew 28:11-15 KJV (Chief Priests and Elders)
11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole Him away while we slept.
14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

Acts 5:1-11 KJV ( Ananias, and Sapphira)
1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to The Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.
7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.
8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.
9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt The Spirit Of The Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.
10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.
11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.
