Bible Questions Answered:
“...I know that I have gone astray since a boy at home, with Christian parents. I don't feel like God will forgive me, why should he?...”
Brandon/  Las Vegas, Nevada  U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

God loves you so much ….

Romans 5:8 KJV
But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

John 3:14-21 KJV
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must The Son Of Man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son Of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth The Light, neither cometh to The Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth Truth cometh to The Light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

II Peter 3:9 KJV
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward,not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Repentance:

I John 1:9 KJV  (God's promise)
If we confess our sins, He is Faithful and Just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

God's Grace:

Ephesians 1:7,8 NLT
7 He is so rich in kindness and grace that He purchased our freedom with The Blood of His Son and forgave our sins.
8 He has showered His kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.

Does God love you beyond any man's reasoning? Yes!
Does God forgive sins confessed and forsaken?:  Yes!

II Corinthians 5:21 NLT
For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering (sacrifice) for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

God's Forgiveness:

Psalm 32:5 NLT
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to The Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.

Psalm 103:12 KJV
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us.

Proverbs 28:13 NLT
People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.

Isaiah 55:7 KJV
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto The Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

Micah 7:19 KJV
He will turn again, He will have compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Matthew 6:14,15 KJV
14 “If you forgive those who sin against you, your Heavenly Father will forgive you.
15 But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Prayer:

I John 4:16 NLT
We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in His love.

 Bible Questions Answered:
“...my husband and I have been married 2 years and we are wondering about bringing children into a world that is disease and war infected, what do you think?...”
Brenda/ Ashburn, Virginia  U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

In the prophet Jeremiah's days, God's people had been carried away into captivity, in Babylon. No doubt the people asked the prophet the same kind of question, and this was his answer.

Jeremiah 29:6,11 KJV
6 Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith The Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Remember, whether it be disease or war, our God is still in control!

Psalm 97:1 NLT
The Lord is King! Let the earth rejoice! Let the farthest coastlands be glad.

Learning To Trust The Lord:

Matthew 6:34 KJV
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Matthew 6:34 NLT
So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

This verse is so easily understood in the New Living Translation.

This is all about the subject of worry versus trust.
As God's people, should we plan for tomorrow's needs? Yes, of course, but we are never to get to the place where we stop “trusting God,” and start to worry and become overly disturbed.

Philippians 4:6,7 KJV
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6,7 NLT
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.
7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

I Peter 5:7 KJV
Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.

Who is caring, and interceding for you? The Lord Jesus Christ, that's who, He's not dead impaled on a cross, He's living and interceding for you at the right hand of the Father!

Romans 8:34 KJV
"...It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."

As a child of God, we are to “trust,” our God to keep us.

Psalm 37:3-5 KJV
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.

Proverbs 3:5,6 KJV
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.

Isaiah 26:3,4 KJV
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD Jehovah is everlasting strength:

Psalm 118:8,9 KJV
8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
9 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

Here are the words Jesus spoke before, in Matthew chapter six.

Matthew 6:19-34 NLT
19 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal.
20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.
21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
22 “Your eye is a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is good, your whole body is filled with light.
23 But when your eye is bad, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!
24 “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
25 “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?
26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to Him than they are?
27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?
28 “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing,
29 yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.
30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, He will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
31 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’
32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.
33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.
34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

Psalm 112:5-7 KJV
5 A good man showeth favor, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

Psalm 121:1-3 KJV
1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Isaiah 41:10 KJV
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness.

Prayer:

Psalm 34:22 KJV
The Lord redeemeth the soul of His servants: and none of them that trust in Him shall be desolate.

Bible Lesson: Marks Of Godly Character Versus Marks Of Non-Christian Character: Temperance Versus Intemperance.

Bible Texts:

Temperance:

Proverbs 22:24 KJV
Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:

Proverbs 31:4 KJV
It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:

II Peter 1:5-10 KJV
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience Godliness;
7 And to Godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

Intemperance:

Proverbs 23:29,30 KJV
29 Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?
30 They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.

The Word, Temperance:

Romans 5:3-6  KJV
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by The Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Romans 12:1,2 KJV
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 13:14 KJV
But put ye on The Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

I Corinthians 9:25,27 KJV
25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Galatians 5:16,22,23 KJV
16 This I say then, Walk in The Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
22 But the fruit of The Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Philippians 4:13 KJV
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Titus 2:12 KJV
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and Godly, in this present world;

I Peter 5:8 KJV
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

The Word, Intemperance:

 Numbers 11:18-20 NLT
18 “And say to the people, ‘Purify yourselves, for tomorrow you will have meat to eat. You were whining, and The Lord heard you when you cried, “Oh, for some meat! We were better off in Egypt!” Now The Lord will give you meat, and you will have to eat it.
19 And it won’t be for just a day or two, or for five or ten or even twenty.
20 You will eat it for a whole month until you gag and are sick of it. For you have rejected The Lord, who is here among you, and you have whined to Him, saying, “Why did we ever leave Egypt?”’”

Proverbs 23:19-21 KJV
19 Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way.
20 Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh:
21 For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.

Isaiah 28:7 KJV
But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment

Romans 1:26,27 KJV
26 That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other.
27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.

I Corinthians 6:9-11 NLT
9 Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality,
10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.
11 Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of The Lord Jesus Christ and by The Spirit Of our God.

Philippians 3:19 KJV
Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Prayer:

I Corinthians 3:16,17 KJV
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that The Spirit Of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Bible Questions Answered:
“...at death are with God, or not till a later time?...”
Lucy/ Brisbane (Queensland), Australia

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

The Word Of God, has the definitive answer!

Luke 23:41,42 KJV
42 And he (The repentant thief) said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with Me in paradise.

John 14:1-3 KJV
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.
2 In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

II Corinthians 5:1-10 KJV
1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now He that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of The Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from The Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with The Lord.
9 Wherefore we labor, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Philippians 1:21-23 NLT
21 For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.
22 But if I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ. So I really don’t know which is better.
23 I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me.

I Thessalonians 4:13-17 KJV
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.
15 For this we say unto you by The Word Of The Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of The Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet The Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with The Lord.

Prayer:

Hebrews 13:5 KJV
"...for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Bible Questions Answered:
“...some people don't want anything to do with John because he broke his probation, and ended up in jail. He's out now but some stay away from him. I don't know if this is ok. I feel sorry for  him.....”
Sheila/ Chicago, Illinois  U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Our Lord is in the rescuing and restoring business...

Galatians 6:1,2 KJV
1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill The Law Of Christ.

(Dear Christian friend, please note the following:
Paul here speaks of restoring someone to faith, this is “not,” speaking of that persons office they once may have held!
That is, they should be restored to faith, but that does not necessitate them being restored to any spirituaal office, they may have once held!)

Matthew 18:11-13 KJV
11 For The Son Of Man is come to save that which was lost.
12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

Warnings To Spiritual Workers:

Jude 1:22,23 NLT
22 And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering.
23 Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives.

The Great Commission:

Matthew 9:37,38 KJV
37 Then saith He unto His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore The Lord Of The Harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.

Matthew 28:16-20 NLT
16 Then the eleven disciples left for Galilee, going to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.
17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him—but some of them doubted!
18 Jesus came and told His disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.
19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of The Father and The Son and The Holy Spirit.
20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Mark 12:31 KJV
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Luke 19:10 KJV
For The Son Of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

John 3:16,17 KJV
16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 5:24 KJV
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Acts 4:12 KJV
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

II Corinthians 6:2 NLT
For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you.  On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

Prayer:

John 13:35 KJV
By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Bible Lesson: Marks Of Godly Character Versus Marks Of Non-Christian Character: Tact Versus Indiscretion.

Bible Texts:

Tact:

I Corinthians 9:19-23 NLT
19 Even though I am a free man with no master, I have become a slave to all people to bring many to Christ.
20 When I was with the Jews, I lived like a Jew to bring the Jews to Christ. When I was with those who follow the Jewish Law, I too lived under that Law. Even though I am not subject to The Law, I did this so I could bring to Christ those who are under The Law.
21 When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish Law, I too live apart from that Law so I can bring them to Christ. But I do not ignore The Law Of God; I obey The Law Of Christ.
22 When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some.
23 I do everything to spread The Good News and share in its blessings.

Indiscretion:

Proverbs 11:12 NLT
It is foolish to belittle one’s neighbor; a sensible person keeps quiet.

Using Tact, The Word:

Proverbs 15:1 KJV
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

I Corinthians 9:21,22 NLT
21 When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish Law, I too live apart from that Law so I can bring them to Christ. But I do not ignore The Law Of God; I obey The Law Of Christ.
22 When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some.

Exodus 35:2 NLT
You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day must be a Sabbath day of complete rest, a holy day dedicated to The Lord. Anyone who works on that day must be put to death.

Proverbs 25:15 NLT
Patience can persuade a prince, and soft speech can break bones.

Matthew 7:21-23 KJV
21 Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.

John 1:1 KJV
In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God.

I Corinthians 12:13 KJV
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

I Corinthians 16:2 NLT
On the first day of each week, you should each put aside a portion of the money you have earned. Don’t wait until I get there and then try to collect it all at once.

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Ephesians 1:4,5  NLT
4 Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes.
5 God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure.

Ephesians 4:15,29 NLT
15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is The Head of His body, the church. 1
29 Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.

Colossians 2:16,17 KJV
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Colossians 4:5,6 KJV
5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

II Timothy 3:16 KJV
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

James 2:26 NLT
Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works.

II Peter 2:21 KJV
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by The Holy Ghost.

The Word, Discretion:

Genesis 41:33 NLT
“Therefore, Pharaoh should find an intelligent and wise man and put him in charge of the entire land of Egypt.

Psalm 112:5 KJV
A good man sheweth favor, and lendeth: He will guide his affairs with discretion.

Bible Lesson: Marks Of Godly Character Versus Marks Of Non-Christian Character: Contentment Versus Dissatisfaction.

Bible Texts:

Contentment:

Philippians 4:11 KJV
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

Dissatisfaction:

Ecclesiastes 2:11 NLT:
But as I looked at everything I had worked so hard to accomplish, it was all so meaningless—like chasing the wind. There was nothing really worthwhile anywhere.

The Word, Contentment:

Psalm 16:11 KJV
7Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Psalm 23:1 NLT
The Lord is my Shepherd; I have all that I need.

Psalm 37:3-5,16 NLT
3 Trust in The Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.
4 Take delight in The Lord, and He will give you your heart’s desires.
5 Commit everything you do to The Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you.
16 It is better to be Godly and have little than to be evil and rich.

Proverbs 16:8 NLT
Better to have little, with Godliness, than to be rich and dishonest.

Proverbs 19:23 KJV
The fear of The Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.

Proverbs 28:6,25 NLT
6 Better to be poor and honest than to be dishonest and rich.
25 Greed causes fighting; trusting The Lord leads to prosperity.

Proverbs 30:8 NLT
First, help me never to tell a lie. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough to satisfy my needs.

Ecclesiastes 2:24 NLT
So I decided there is nothing better than to enjoy food and drink and to find satisfaction in work. Then I realized that these pleasures are from the hand of God.

Ecclesiastes 5:10 NLT
Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness!

Isaiah 26:3 NLT
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!

Matthew 6:19-24,33,34 NLT (Teaching about Money and Possessions)
19 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal.
20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.
21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
22 “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light.
23 But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!
24 “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.
33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.
34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

Luke 12:15 KJV
And He said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

II Corinthians 9:8 NLT
And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

Philippians 4:12,13 NLT
12 I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little.
13 For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

Philippians 4:19 KJV
But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

I Timothy 6:6,8,10,17-19 NLT
6 Yet true Godliness with contentment is itself great wealth.
8 So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content.
10 For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.
17 Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment.
18 Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others.
19 By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life.

Hebrews 13:5 NLT
Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said,
“I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”

I Peter 5:6,7 KJV
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.

The Word, Dissatisfaction:

Proverbs 27:20 NLT
Just as Death and Destruction are never satisfied, so human desire is never satisfied.

Isaiah 55:2 KJV
Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto Me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Ezekiel 7:19 KJV
They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of The Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

Micah 6:14 NLT
You will eat but never have enough. Your hunger pangs and emptiness will remain. And though you try to save your money, it will come to nothing in the end. You will save a little, but I will give it to those who conquer you.

Haggai 1:5,6 NLT
5 This is what The Lord Of Heaven’s Armies says: Look at what’s happening to you!
6 You have planted much but harvest little. You eat but are not satisfied. You drink but are still thirsty. You put on clothes but cannot keep warm. Your wages disappear as though you were putting them in pockets filled with holes!

Prayer:

Romans 16:17 NLT
And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them.
