Prayer Request: Carolyn

Prayer Request:
A 72 year old wife, mother and grandmother of 10 grandchildren, needs our prayers for her recovery after kidney surgery. Carolyn suffered a stroke several years ago. Please pray for her strength and health.
Minneapolis, Minnesota U.S.A.

(Prayer Request Line: TheBiblePrayerLine@gmail.com   This line for Prayer Requests.)

If this was your mother, sister etc. would you pray?
God is keeping some special books on what people do!
Don't think so?

Psalm 56:8 KJV
Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

Revelation 20:12 KJV
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

We as Christ's disciples in the 21st century, are we to pray for the sick?

Matthew 10:1-7 KJV
[1] And when He had called unto Him His twelve disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
[2] Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
[3] Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
[4] Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.
[5] These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
[6] But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
[7] And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Luke 10:1-9 KJV
[1] After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before His face into every city and place, whither He Himself would come.
[2] Therefore said He unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth laborers into His harvest.
[3] Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
[4] Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
[5] And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
[6] And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
[7] And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
[8] And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
[9] And  heal the sick  that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

Malachi 3:6 KJV
For I am the LORD, I change not..."

Hebrews 13:8 KJV
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

John 8:31 KJV
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed;

THE GREAT COMMISSION: (Of the Church of Jesus Christ.)

Mark 16:15 KJV
[15] And He (Risen Lord Jesus) said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
[16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
[17] And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
[18] They shall take up serpents*; and if they drink any deadly thing*, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Acts 28:1-6 KJV
[1] And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.
[2] And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.
[3] And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a  viper  out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
[4] And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.
[5] And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.
[6] Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.

On his way to Rome, the Apostle Paul was involved in a mighty ship wreck. His boat was dashed to pieces at the island of Melita.

The people of Melita, kindled a fire for the survivors, because of the wind, rain, and the cold.
Verse three tells us that the Apostle gathered together a bundle of sticks to feed the fire, when placed on the flame, a viper jumped out and bit the Apostle on the hand.

The people of Melita, thought at first that Paul, must be a criminal, murderer, though he had escaped the sea, yet vengeance would not permit him to live.
But, the Apostle, merely shook off the snake, feeling “no harm.”

Then the people of Melita, thought of him as a god.
God, had protected the Apostle Paul, from harm.
Was this anything that Paul had sought-the handling of snakes....absolutely not!”

Christ in his desert temptation by Satan, was so tempted by him, as to do works of foolishness (jump from the pinnacle of the temple) to force God's miraculous protecting hand.

Matthew 4:5-7 KJV (Christ's righteous works, were not for grandstanding, but for displaying the power and love of God.)
[5] Then the devil taketh Him up into the holy city, and setteth Him on a pinnacle of the temple,
[6] And saith unto Him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give His angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
[7] Jesus said unto Him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Matthew 4:5-7 NLT
5 Then the devil took Him to the holy city, Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple,
6 and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say*,
He will order His angels to protect you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’
7 Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.’

Lucifer, knew well the Angelic Codes of heaven, as he was once an angel of very high rank
(Psalm 91:11,12).

How “many,” a nefarious ne'er-do-well, or explicit, exhibitionist, has murdered the wonderful word of God, by preforming snake handling exhibitions, or made some open ridiculous spectacle, of the very dear and precious “Gifts of the Spirit.”

Dear friend, never forget the enemy of our souls, wants you and I, to “miss it.”
Error from the truth, miss the great things of God. Miss all the blessing that He has for us, etc. etc. etc.

It is our responsibility, to recognize things for what they are, of the Spirit, or of the flesh and the devil!

Is Divine Healing for the children of God, Yes!

John 13:15 KJV
For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

Matthew 10:1 KJV
And when He had called unto Him His twelve disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Mark 3:15,15 KJV
[14] And He ordained twelve, that they should be with Him, and that He might send them forth to preach,
[15] And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

Luke 1:37 KJV
For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Luke 10:19 KJV
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

God's promise to heal:

Exodus 15:26 KJV
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians:
for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Moses knew, that God was their keeper!
Deuteronomy 29:5,6 NLT
5 For forty years I led you through the wilderness, yet your clothes and sandals did not wear out.
6 You ate no bread and drank no wine or other alcoholic drink, but He gave you food so you would know that He is the Lord.

I Peter 2:24 KJV
Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed  (Past tense, victory achieved, by the stripes of our Lord, (Isaiah 53:).

Psalm 103:3 KJV
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

John 14:14 KJV
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

James 5:14,15 KJV
[14] Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
[15] And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Isaiah 58:6 KJV
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

Is sickness, evil, from the evil one?

Job 2:7 KJV
So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

Luke 13:11-16 KJV
[11] And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
[12] And when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
[13] And He laid His hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
[14] And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the Sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.
[15] The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
[16] And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?

Matthew 12:22 KJV
Then was brought unto Him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and He healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

Mark 9:17-27 KJV
17] And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath  a dumb spirit;
[18] And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.
[19] He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto Me.
[20] And they brought him unto Him: and when He saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.
[21] And He asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.
[22] And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.
[23] Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
[24] And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
[25] When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
[26] And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.
[27] But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.

Acts 10:38 KJV
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were  oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.

The Early Church, believed, and practiced, prayer for the sick, in the name of the Lord.

Mark 16:20 KJV
And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Acts 5:14-16 KJV
[14] And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)
[15] Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
[16] There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits:  and they were healed every one.

I Peter 3:12 KJV
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

I John 5:14,15 KJV
[14] And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us:
[15] And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.

Psalm 107:20 KJV
He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Mark 11:24 KJV
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

When we pray, we must have faith!

Romans 10:17 KJV (See Hebrews 11:)
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Hebrews 11:6 KJV
But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

I Thessalonians 5:24 KJV
Faithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it.

Hebrews 10:23 KJV
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Psalm 89:34 KJV
My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of My lips.

John 15:7 KJV
If ye abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

I Kings 8:56 KJV
"...there hath not failed one word of all His good promise..."

II Corinthians 1:20 NLT
For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for His glory.

Matthew 24:35 KJV
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.

Ezekiel 12:25 KJV
For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; ...I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.

Much more could be said, and no doubt in the future, more will be.
Believe in the Power of the Lord, for your self, and for the many needs of others!

I John 4:4 KJV
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.

God bless you as you pray!

Matthew 25:40 KJV
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me.

Resurrections - Miraculous

Bible Questions Answered:
“Did the dead come back to life at the resurrection of Jesus?”
Corry/ Sydney, Australia New South Wales

Bible Answer:
Bible Text:
Matthew 27:52,53 KJV
52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53 And came out of the graves after His resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Matthew, alone, relates to us these wonderful events. After (not before, not at the same time, but “after,) the resurrection of Jesus, other saints were resurrected from the dead.

I Corinthians 15:20-23 KJV (Christ The First fruits of God's spiritual harvest. see Leviticus 23:9-22.)
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become The First fruits of them that slept.
21 For since by man came death, by Man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ The First fruits; afterward they that are Christ's at His coming.

Acts 26:22,23 KJV
22 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:
23 That Christ should suffer, and that He should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

Jesus Christ, God's Son, became the first, to be resurrected into a Immortal Glorified risen body.
Those who were resurrected on Christ's resurrection day, were not resurrected into immortal glorified bodies, but into their earthly bodies, meaning again one day they would die.

Well, why this resurrection of these others?
In the first place they were...
  • Righteous dead, those who died in hope of a coming Messiah.
  • They added to the great throng of witnesses of Christ's miraculous resurrection.

I Corinthians 15:3-8 NLT (Apostle Paul)
3 I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said.
4 He was buried, and He was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.
5 He was seen by Peter and then by the Twelve.
6 After that, He was seen by more than 500 of His followers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died.
7 Then He was seen by James and later by all the apostles.
8 Last of all, as though I had been born at the wrong time, I (Apostle Paul) also saw Him.

And our Lord, made this promise to His followers:

John 14:1-6 KJV
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and The Way ye know.
5 Thomas saith unto Him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know The Way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

As God's people, we work and we witness of our risen Savior, but the day will come as He promised, when He will return for His people!

I Corinthians 15:51-58 KJV
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of The Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in The Lord.

I Thessalonians 4:13-18 NLT
13 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope.
14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with Him the believers who have died.
15 We tell you this directly from The Lord: We who are still living when The Lord returns will not meet Him ahead of those who have died.
16 For The Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves.
17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet The Lord in the air. Then we will be with The Lord forever.
18 So encourage each other with these words.

II Timothy 1:10 KJV
...Jesus Christ... hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

I John 5:12 KJV
He that hath The Son hath life; and he that hath not The Son of God hath not life.

Dear friend, have you received the dear Lord Jesus into your heart and life as the Savior? To delay is to say no to Him.

Revelation 3:20 KJV
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him,..."

John 3:16 KJV
For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Curtain Of The Temple Torn In Two

Bible Questions Answered:
In Matthew 27:51 what is the meaning of the veil tearing?...”
Rujul/ New Delhi, India Delhi

Bible Answer:
Bible Text:
Matthew 27:45-51 NLT
45 At noon, darkness fell across the whole land until three o’clock.
46 At about three o’clock, Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli,[j] lema sabachthani?” which means “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?”
47 Some of the bystanders misunderstood and thought He was calling for the prophet Elijah.
48 One of them ran and filled a sponge with sour wine, holding it up to Him on a reed stick so He could drink.
49 But the rest said, “Wait! Let’s see whether Elijah comes to save Him.”
50 Then Jesus shouted out again, and He released His Spirit.
51 At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook, rocks split apart,

In the Jewish temple, a large curtain separated The Holy Place from The Most Holy Place. The curtain was made of blue, purple and scarlet, it was a barrier to The Most Holy Place, and The Ark Of The Covenant, where was the presence of God.

Exodus 25:17-22 NLT
17 “Then make the Ark’s cover—the place of atonement—from pure gold. It must be 45 inches long and 27 inches wide. 18 Then make two cherubim from hammered gold, and place them on the two ends of the atonement cover.
19 Mold the cherubim on each end of the atonement cover, making it all of one piece of gold.
20 The cherubim will face each other and look down on the atonement cover. With their wings spread above it, they will protect it.
21 Place inside the Ark the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, which I will give to you. Then put the atonement cover on top of the Ark.
22 I will meet with you there and talk to you from above the atonement cover between the gold cherubim that hover over The Ark Of The Covenant. From there I will give you My commands for the people of Israel.

Exodus 26:31-34 NLT
31 “For the inside of the Tabernacle, make a special curtain of finely woven linen. Decorate it with blue, purple, and scarlet thread and with skillfully embroidered cherubim.
32 Hang this curtain on gold hooks attached to four posts of acacia wood. Overlay the posts with gold, and set them in four silver bases.
33 Hang the inner curtain from clasps, and put The Ark Of The Covenant in the room behind it. This curtain will separate the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place.
34 “Then put The Ark’s cover—the place of atonement—on top of The Ark Of The Covenant inside the Most Holy Place.

Only the High Priest entered into The Most Holy Place (Holy of Holies), and that once a year, to atone for the sins of himself and his people (Leviticus 16:11-14/ Leviticus 23:27).

Matthew 27:51 NLT
At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook, rocks split apart,

This action, brought about by God, Himself, spoke that...
  • No longer did men need to go through a priest for atonement.
  • No longer did men need an earthly priest to intercede (mediate) for them!
  • No longer was the way to the presence of God, blocked, for now His presence was open to one and all!

Hebrews 2:17 NLT
Therefore, it was necessary for Him to be made in every respect like us, His brothers and sisters, so that He could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then He could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people.

Romans 3:25 NLT
For God presented Jesus as The Sacrifice For Sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed His life, shedding His blood..."

I Timothy 2:5,6 KJV
5 For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave Himself a ransom for all..."

Hebrews 4:14-16 NLT (The Lord Jesus Christ our High Priest.)
14 So then, since we have a Great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus The Son Of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe.
15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin.
16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Hebrews 5:1-9 NLT
1 Every high priest is a man chosen to represent other people in their dealings with God. He presents their gifts to God and offers sacrifices for their sins.
2 And he is able to deal gently with ignorant and wayward people because he himself is subject to the same weaknesses.
3 That is why he must offer sacrifices for his own sins as well as theirs.
3 That is why he must offer sacrifices for his own sins as well as theirs.
4 And no one can become a high priest simply because he wants such an honor. He must be called by God for this work, just as Aaron was.
5 That is why Christ did not honor Himself by assuming He could become High Priest. No, He was chosen by God, who said to Him, “You are My Son. Today I have become your Father.”
6 And in another passage God said to Him, “You are a Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”
7 While Jesus was here on earth, He offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the One who could rescue Him from death. And God heard His prayers because of His deep reverence for God.
8 Even though Jesus was God’s Son, He learned obedience from the things He suffered.
9 In this way, God qualified Him as a perfect High Priest, and He became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey Him.

Hebrews 6:18-20 NLT
18 So God has given both His promise and His oath...we who have fled to Him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.
19 This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.
20 Jesus has already gone in there for us. He has become our Eternal High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 7:24-27 KJV
24 But this Man (Jesus Christ), because He continueth ever, hath an unchangeable Priesthood.
25 Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.
26 For such an High Priest became us, who is Holy, Harmless, Undefiled, Separate from sinners, and made Higher than the heavens;
27 Who needeth not daily, as those (earthly) high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this He did once, when He (Christ) offered up Himself.

Hebrews 8:1 KJV
Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an High Priest, who is set on the right hand of The Throne Of The Majesty in the heavens;

Hebrews 9:14,15,24 NLT
14...Christ offered Himself to God as a Perfect Sacrifice for our sins.
15 That is why He is the One who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who are called can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant.
24 For Christ did not enter into a holy place made with human hands, which was only a copy of the true one in heaven. He entered into heaven itself to appear now before God on our behalf.

James 4:8 KJV
Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you..."

I John 2:1,2 NLT
1 My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an Advocate who pleads our case before The Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.
2 He Himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.

John 3:14-21 KJV
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must The Son Of Man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of The Only Begotten Son Of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the Light, neither cometh to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth Truth cometh to The Light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Matthew 5:19 Break One Of These Least Commandments

Bible Questions Answered:
“Pastor I have recently read Matthew 5:19 and I am wondering the full meaning.....”
Steve/ Bethlehem, Pennsylvania  U.S.A.

Bible Answer:
Bible Text:
Matthew 5:17-20 KJV
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Question: Is is possible to be a Christian teacher, leader and teach something that is false and yet go to heaven?
Answer: yes. Jesus said so, but “...he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven ” Matthew 5:19 KJV

Some have taught that although they believe Jesus is Savior, yet He is not eternal, only a created Son, an absolute falsehood! In heaven, their position, before God and men, will be degraded accordingly as to how they have so willingly degraded the character and true position of the Eternal Son Of God.

Some religious leaders have demeaned, the baptizing, and enduing power (dunamis) of God The Holy Spirit. In heaven, the position that they could have had, will be degraded accordingly to as how they degraded the work and power of God The Holy Spirit, while on earth.

Some religious teachers, though they believe Christ The Savior, have taught falsely, and diametrically to the precious Word Of God, that it is OK for angels or men to “add” to the Word Of God. On earth these may have gained a following and honor, but in heaven, the tables will be turned, in degree to their disrespect and dishonor to the inerrant Word Of God, so to shall they receive disrespect and dishonor as to their eternal position, before God.

Danger- Danger- Teachers of the Word Of God......

Galatians 6:7 KJV
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Now just encase someone might think that a leader could teach anyway for salvation, and still go to heaven.....HEAR, what our Lord said!

Matthew 5:20 KJV
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Danger- Danger- Teachers of the Word Of God......

James 3:1 NRSV
Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers and sisters, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.

James 3:1 NLT
Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly.

James 3:1 KJV
My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

I Corinthians 9:13,14 KJV
13 Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?
14 Even so hath The Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.

II Corinthians 5:11 KJV
Knowing therefore the terror of The Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

II Corinthians 5:11 NLT
Because we understand our fearful responsibility to The Lord, we work hard to persuade others. God knows we are sincere, and I hope you know this, too.

What should we do as the people of God?
Whether teacher or one in the pew, we should follow the example of the noble Bereans.

Acts 17:10,11 KJV
10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Acts 17:10,11 NLT
10 That very night the believers sent Paul and Silas to Berea. When they arrived there, they went to the Jewish synagogue.
11 And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul’s message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth.

Our righteousness, must not be outward, formal, a show of vain glory, but inward and sincere, of the heart.

Psalm 19:14 KJV
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my Strength, and my Redeemer.

Psalm 26:2 KJV
Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

Psalm 40:8 KJV
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

Psalm 49:3 KJV
My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

Psalm 51:10,17 KJV
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Psalm 64:10 KJV
The righteous shall be glad in The Lord, and shall trust in Him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

Psalm 84:2 KJV
My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of The Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

Psalm 86:11,12 KJV
11 Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy Truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

Psalm 90:12 KJV
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Psalm 97:11 KJV
Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Psalm 105:3 KJV
Glory ye in His Holy Name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek The Lord.

Psalm 111:1 KJV
Praise ye The Lord. I will praise The Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

Psalm 119:2 KJV
Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and that seek Him with the whole heart.

I give you thanks, O Lord, with all my heart; I will sing your praises..."

Psalm 139:23,24 KJV
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Psalm 147:3
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

Bible Lesson: Miracles Of The Old Testament: Rain And Thunder At Harvest Time.

Bible Lesson: Miracles Of The Old Testament: Rain And Thunder At Harvest Time.

Occasion: To Cause Reverence And Obedience In Israel.

Location: Gilgal

Bible Text: I Samuel 11:14,15/ 12:1-25 NLT
I Samuel 11:14,15 NLT
14 Then Samuel said to the people, “Come, let us all go to Gilgal to renew the kingdom.”
15 So they all went to Gilgal, and in a solemn ceremony before The Lord they made Saul king. Then they offered peace offerings to The Lord, and Saul and all the Israelites were filled with joy.

I Samuel 12:1-25 NLT (Samuel’s Farewell)
1 Then Samuel addressed all Israel: “I have done as you asked and given you a king.
2 Your king is now your leader. I stand here before you—an old, gray-haired man—and my sons serve you. I have served as your leader from the time I was a boy to this very day.
3 Now testify against me in the presence of The Lord and before His anointed one. Whose ox or donkey have I stolen? Have I ever cheated any of you? Have I ever oppressed you? Have I ever taken a bribe and perverted justice? Tell me and I will make right whatever I have done wrong.”
4 “No,” they replied, “you have never cheated or oppressed us, and you have never taken even a single bribe.”
5 “The Lord and His anointed one are my witnesses today,” Samuel declared, “that my hands are clean.” “Yes, He is a witness,” they replied.
6 “It was The Lord who appointed Moses and Aaron,” Samuel continued. “He brought your ancestors out of the land of Egypt.
7 Now stand here quietly before The Lord as I remind you of all the great things The Lord has done for you and your ancestors.
8 “When the Israelites were in Egypt and cried out to The Lord, He sent Moses and Aaron to rescue them from Egypt and to bring them into this land.
9 But the people soon forgot about The Lord their God, so He handed them over to Sisera, the commander of Hazor’s army, and also to the Philistines and to the king of Moab, who fought against them.
10 “Then they cried to The Lord again and confessed, ‘We have sinned by turning away from The Lord and worshiping the images of Baal and Ashtoreth. But we will worship you and you alone if you will rescue us from our enemies.’
11 Then The Lord sent Gideon, Bedan, Jephthah, and Samuelto save you, and you lived in safety.
12 “But when you were afraid of Nahash, the king of Ammon, you came to me and said that you wanted a king to reign over you, even though The Lord your God was already your King.
13 All right, here is the king you have chosen. You asked for him, and The Lord has granted your request.
14 “Now if you fear and worship The Lord and listen to His voice, and if you do not rebel against The Lord’s commands, then both you and your king will show that you recognize The Lord as your God.
15 But if you rebel against The Lord’s commands and refuse to listen to Him, then His hand will be as heavy upon you as it was upon your ancestors.

16 “Now stand here and see the great thing The Lord is about to do.
17 You know that it does not rain at this time of the year during the wheat harvest. I will ask The Lord to send thunder and rain today. Then you will realize how wicked you have been in asking The Lord for a king!”
18 So Samuel called to The Lord, and The Lord sent thunder and rain that day. And all the people were terrified of the Lord and of Samuel.

19 “Pray to The Lord your God for us, or we will die!” they all said to Samuel. “For now we have added to our sins by asking for a king.”
20 “Don’t be afraid,” Samuel reassured them. “You have certainly done wrong, but make sure now that you worship
The Lord with all your heart, and don’t turn your back on Him.
21 Don’t go back to worshiping worthless idols that cannot help or rescue you—they are totally useless!
22 The Lord will not abandon His people, because that would dishonor His Great Name. For it has pleased The Lord to make you His very own people.
23 “As for me, I will certainly not sin against The Lord by ending my prayers for you. And I will continue to teach you what is good and right.
24 But be sure to fear The Lord and faithfully serve Him. Think of all the wonderful things He has done for you.
25 But if you continue to sin, you and your king will be swept away.”

In his farewell speech, the fifteenth and last judge, Samuel spoke of the goodness and faithfulness of The Lord, to Israel.

But though The Lord had been faithful to them, they in turn had been faithless to Him.
And now in an act to follow other ungodly nations around them, they demanded a king, when The Lord Of Glory had, from the beginning, always been their King of kings.

The King of kings and Lord of lords:

Exodus 15:18 KJV
The Lord shall reign for ever and ever.

II Chronicles 20:5,6 NLT
5 Jehoshaphat (King of Judah) stood before the community of Judah and Jerusalem in front of the new courtyard at the Temple of The Lord.
6 He prayed, “O Lord, God of our ancestors, you alone are The God who is in heaven. You are Ruler of all the kingdoms of the earth. You are powerful and mighty; no one can stand against you!

Psalm 2:6,7 KJV
6 Yet have I set My King upon My Holy Hill Of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: The Lord hath said unto Me, Thou art My Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Psalm 24:1-10 KJV
1 The earth is The Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2 For He hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3 Who shall ascend into The Hill Of The Lord? or who shall stand in His Holy Place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from The Lord, and righteousness from The God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek Him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and The King Of Glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King Of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and The King Of Glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King Of Glory? The Lord Of Hosts, He is The King Of Glory. Selah.

Isaiah 9:6,7 KJV
6 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince Of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of The Lord Of Hosts will perform this.

Jeremiah 23:5,6 NLT
5 “For the time is coming,” says The Lord, “when I will raise up a righteous descendant from King David’s line.
He will be a King who rules with wisdom. He will do what is just and right throughout the land.
6 And this will be His name:‘The Lord Is Our Righteousness...’

Daniel 7:13,14 KJV
13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son Of Man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient Of Days, and they brought Him near before Him.
14 And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Zechariah 9:9 KJV
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: He is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Matthew 2:1,2 KJV
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is He that is born King Of The Jews? for we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him.

John 1:49 KJV
Nathanael answered and saith unto Him, Rabbi, thou art The Son Of God; thou art The King Of Israel.

John 18:37 KJV
Pilate therefore said unto Him, Art thou a King then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a King. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto The Truth. Every one that is of The Truth heareth My voice.

I Corinthians 15:25 NLT
For Christ must reign until He humbles all His enemies beneath His feet.

I Timothy 1:17 KJV
Now unto The King Eternal, Immortal, Invisible, The Only Wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

I Timothy 6:13-16 KJV
13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
15 Which in His times He shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, The King Of kings, and Lord Of lords;
16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.

Revelation 1:5 KJV
And from Jesus Christ, who is The Faithful Witness, and The First Begotten Of The Dead, and The Prince Of The Kings Of The Earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

Revelation 15:2,3 KJV
2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of The Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King Of Saints.

Revelation 17:14 KJV
These shall make war with The Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Revelation 19:6,16 KJV
6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth.
16 And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, King Of kings, And Lord Of lords.

Samuel told Israel, that God would show His anger at their rejecting Him, by sending them rain at Harvest time.

The Living God, had preformed miracle after miracle for the people of God, and yet they wandered away from Him. And again and again the judges of Israel, would call them back to repentance and worship.

Certainly we Christians today, would never error as they did-or could we?

Proverbs 14:12 KJV
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 17:3 KJV
The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but The Lord trieth the hearts.

Proverbs 21:2 KJV
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but The Lord pondereth the hearts.

Ecclesiastes 8:11-13 KJV
11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
12 Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before Him:
13 But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall He prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.

Jeremiah 17:9 KJV
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Mark 7:20-23 NLT
20 And then He (Jesus) added, “It is what comes from inside that defiles you.
21 For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder,
22 adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness.
23 All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.”

Oh, the insurrection, the treachery of the heart of man.
What can men do?

Psalm 119:11 KJV
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Psalm 19:14 KJV
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Hebrews 4:12 KJV
For The Word Of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Hebrews 3:12-19 NLT
12 Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from The Living God.
13 You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.
14 For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
15 Remember what it says: “Today when you hear His voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.”
16 And who was it who rebelled against God, even though they heard His voice? Wasn’t it the people Moses led out of Egypt?
17 And who made God angry for forty years? Wasn’t it the people who sinned, whose corpses lay in the wilderness?
18 And to whom was God speaking when He took an oath that they would never enter His rest? Wasn’t it the people who disobeyed Him?
19 So we see that because of their unbelief they were not able to enter His rest.

I Corinthians 10:12 KJV
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

II Timothy 2:19-26 KJV
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for
The Master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on The Lord out of a pure heart.
23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
24 And the servant of The Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of The Truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

James 4:4-10 KJV
4 ...know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity (hostile) with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
6 But He giveth more grace. Wherefore He saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of The Lord, and He shall lift you up.

33 And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

36 Naked, and ye clothed Me: I was sick, and ye visited Me: I was in prison, and ye came unto Me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me.
41 Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungered, and ye gave Me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took Me not in: naked, and ye clothed Me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited Me not.
44 Then shall they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall He answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to Me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Idle Words

Bible Questions Answered:
“What are -idle words-according to Jesus, that people say?”
Levon/ Toronto, Canada Ontario

Bible Answer:
Bible Text:
Matthew 12:22-36 KJV
22 Then was brought unto Him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and He healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this The Son Of David?
24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
28 But if I cast out devils by The Spirit Of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
30 He that is not with Me is against Me; and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth abroad.
31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against The Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32 And whosoever speaketh a word against The Son Of Man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against The Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Certainly, Jesus here had reference to the Pharisees who said, that...
24 ...This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

These “idle words,” Jesus said.... (Matthew 12:31/ Mark 3:28/Luke 12:10)

Homily:
A man was told by his doctor that he had a serious life threatening disease, and that he needed treatment immediately.

But the man, did not feel ill, and did not see any reason for a series of injections, so he refused all medical advice.

Question, how could this man be helped, if adamantly, he refused all help? Answer, he could never be helped, because of the course, he had chosen himself.

To say that ascribing the works of God The Holy Spirit to Satan, are “idle words” is the very least to be sure.
And that they are sins, without redemption, is by definition here, totally by the Christ rejector's choice, alone.

And “idle words,” of course are more than just these,

The Word:

Exodus 20:7 KJV
Thou shalt not take the name of The Lord thy God in vain; for The Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain.

Psalm 10:4-7 KJV
4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
5 His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
6 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

Psalm 17:3 NLT
You have tested my thoughts and examined my heart in the night. You have scrutinized me and found nothing wrong. I am determined not to sin in what I say.

Psalm 59:12,13 KJV
12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.
13 Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.

Psalm 109:17-20 KJV
17 As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.
18 As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.
19 Let it be unto him as the garment which covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.
20 Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from The Lord, and of them that speak evil against my soul.

Proverbs 4:24 NLT
Avoid all perverse talk; stay away from corrupt speech.

Matthew 15:18,19 KJV
18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Romans 3:13-18 NLT
13 “Their talk is foul, like the stench from an open grave. Their tongues are filled with lies.” “Snake venom drips from their lips.”
14 “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.”
15 “They rush to commit murder.
16 Destruction and misery always follow them.
17 They don’t know where to find peace.”
18 “They have no fear of God at all.”

Ephesians 4:31 KJV
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Colossians 3:8 KJV
But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

James 3:8-10 KJV
8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
9 Therewith bless we God, even The Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

James 5:12 KJV
But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

I Peter 1:15,16 KJV
15 But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Revelation 13:1,4-6 KJV
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
4 And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

Revelation 17:3-6 KJV
3 So he carried me away in The spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

Make this your daily prayer:

Psalm 19:14 KJV
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.
