Bible Questions Answered:
“...genesis
2:17 is a lie, Adam and Eve, did not die, they lived for hundreds of
years...”
Gary/
Calgary, British Columbia Canada
Bible
Answer:
Bible Texts:
Genesis
2:17 KJV
But
of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of
it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
How careful we must be, when we interpret The Word Of
The Lord.
Adam and Eve, did die the day, they ate the forbidden
fruit!
It was never said, that they would die physically that
day, the fact is they died that day, spiritually.
“Pastor
are you saying, that there are people walking around today, that are
dead?”
Spiritually dead, yes!
We see so many in society, given to drink, and drugs,
and why? Because they have nothing to live for.
God, has been shut out of their lives. Their soul, cries
out for The Lord, but it's a voice not listened to.
Proverbs
8:36 KJV
But
he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they
that hate me love death.
Spiritual
Death:
Ezekiel
18:4,20 KJV
4
"...the soul that sinneth, it shall die."
20
The soul that sinneth, it shall die..."
Ephesians
2:1 KJV
And
you hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Colossians
2:13 NLT
You
were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not
yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for He forgave all
our sins.
Adam and Eve, were given a means to cover their
sins....and they reached out for it.
Genesis
3:21 NLT (Innocent Blood Shed- A type of future Savior.)
And
the Lord God made clothing from animal skins for Adam and his
wife.
Hebrews
9:22 NLT
In
fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified
with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no
forgiveness.
Dear friends, keep reading the wonderful Word Of The
Lord, and keep praying, and reaching out to those who do not know
Him. There are wonderful rewards coming for those who will!
Prayer:
Matthew
9:37,38 KJV
37
Then saith He unto His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but
the laborers are few;
38
Pray ye therefore The Lord Of The Harvest, that He will send forth
laborers into His harvest.

Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
Genesis
2:1-3 KJV
1
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of
them.
2
and on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made; and He
rested * on the seventh day from all His work which He had
made.
3
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in
it He had rested from all His work which God created and made.
* Rested: Hebrew-Shabath (Shaw-bath): To repose,
that is to desist from exertion; (Cause to, let, make to_cease...
When God rested, it was not, because of being weary, it
was that He ceased His working, because His work was done.
1
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the
host of them.
2 and on the seventh day God ended His work
which He had made; and He rested * on
the seventh day from all His work which He had made.
Our Lord, from His cross stated...
John
19:30 NLT
When
Jesus had tasted it (the vinegar), He said, "It is finished!"
then He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
II Timothy 4:7 KJV (The Apostle Paul)
I
have fought a good fight , I have finished my course, I have
kept the faith:
Revelation
14:13 KJV
And
I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the
dead which die in The Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith The Spirit,
that they may rest from their labors; and their works do
follow them.
The question for us today as Christians, is, ...will we have any Godly
works that will follow us? We must think long and hard, what would
it be?
If the answer is none, let's get busy for The Lord!
Mark
9:41 NLT
If
anyone gives you even a cup of water because you belong to The
Messiah, I assure you, that person will be rewarded.
Prayer:
Galatians
6:9,10 KJV
9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall
reap, if we faint not.

especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Bible Questions Answered:
“...I
have heard that there are several different views of
communion...
Christine/ Tucson, Arizona U.S.A.
Christine/ Tucson, Arizona U.S.A.
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
There are at least four different views, concerning
communion.
- The Memorial View:
In this view, the elements are not a means of grace.
They are instead as a means of a memorable.
The wine and the bread, are a remembrance of our Lord's
shed Blood and broken Body, His death and resurrection.
I
Corinthians 11:23-25 KJV
23
For I have received of The Lord that which also I delivered unto you,
that The Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took
bread:
24
And when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this
is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me.
25
After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped,
saying, This cup is The New Testament in My Blood: this do ye, as oft
as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
Taking communion, a memorable.
I
Corinthians 11:26 KJV
for
as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show The
Lord's death till He come.
I
Corinthians 10:17 KJV
For
we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers
of that one bread.
- The Transubstantiation View:
This Roman Catholic view, holds that the communion
elements (bread and wine), actually change into the blood and body
of The Lord Jesus Christ, through the prayers of the priest.
This actual blood and body, imparts grace to the
recipient. It is said there no change in the elements of communion,
yet The Lord is present.
Jesus,
said that communion was a
memorable:
Jesus,
was not even dead yet, the elements could not have been His actual body or Blood.
Jesus,
never taught cannibalism, nor the drinking of blood.
Luke
22 17-19 KJV
17
And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide
it among yourselves:
18
for I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until
the kingdom of God shall come.
19
and He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them,
saying, This is My body which is given for you: this do in
remembrance of me.
20
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the New
Testament in My Blood, which is shed for you.
Acts
15:29 KJV
That
ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from
things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep
yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
- The Consubstantiation View:
This view, holds that Christ is present in the bread
and wine, even if there is no change in the elements.
After prayer, Christ is communicated to the recipients.
- The Reformed View:
Christ is present at communion. Communion itself is a
means of grace, through not eating or drinking, but communion with
His presence.
Prayer:
John
6:48-51 KJV
48
I am that Bread Of Life.
49
Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50
This is The Bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat
thereof, and not die.
51
I am The Living Bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of
this Bread, he shall live for ever: and The Bread that I will give is
My Flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
I Peter 3:18 KJV
For
Christ also hath once suffered for sins, The Just for the unjust,
that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but
quickened by The Spirit:

Julius/ Chicago, Illinois U.S.A.
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
If you are a born again Christian, you are a member of
the universal church of believers, world wide.
I
Corinthians 12:13 KJV
For
by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews
or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to
drink into one Spirit.
How careful we must be! This is not “Universalism.”
This belief is that all will be saved and not lost.
This is “not,” what The Word Of God, states!
Matthew
13:49 KJV
So
shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and
sever the wicked from among the just.
Matthew 25:31-33,46 KJV (Read verses 31-46)
31
When The Son Of Man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels
with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory.
32
And before Him shall be gathered all nations; and He shall separate
them one from another, as A Shepherd divideth His sheep from the
goats:
33
And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the
left.
46
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the
righteous into life eternal.
The Apostle Paul, says that Christians have been
baptized into The Spirit, as children of
The Lord Jesus. We are the body of Christ.
The
Body:
John
3:3,5.14-18 KJV
3
Jesus answered and said unto him (Nicodemus),
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he
cannot see the kingdom of God.
5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born
of water and of The Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
14
"...even so must The Son Of Man be lifted up:
15
That whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have eternal
life.
16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
life.
17
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but
that the world through Him might be saved.
18
He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not
is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of The
Only Begotten Son Of God.
I
Corinthians 6:15,17,19,20 KJV
15
Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ?..."
17
But he that is joined unto The Lord is one spirit.
19
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of The Holy Ghost
which is in you which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20
for ye are bought with a price: therefore gorily God in your body,
and in your spirit, which are God's.
I
Corinthians 10:16,17 KJV
16
The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of The
Blood Of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion
of the body of Christ
17
For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all
partakers of that one bread.
I
Corinthians 12;12-27 KJV
12
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members
of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be
Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made
to drink into one Spirit.
14
For the body is not one member, but many.
15
If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the
body; is it therefore not of the body?
16
and if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the
body; is it therefore not of the body?
17
If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? if the whole
were hearing, where were the smelling?
18
But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it
hath pleased Him..
19
And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20
But now are thy many members, yet but one body.
21
And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor
again the hand to the feet, I have no need of you.
22
Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more
feeble, are necessary:
23
And those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable,
upon these we bestow more abundant honor: and our uncomely parts have
more abundant comeliness.
24
For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body
together, having given more abundant honor to that part which lacked:
25
That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members
should have the same care one for another.
26
And whether one members suffer, all the members suffer with it; or
one members be honored, all the members rejoice with it.
27
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
Ephesians
1:22,23 KJV
22
And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head
over all things to the church,
23
Which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all.
Ephesians
3:6 KJV
That
the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and
partakers of His promise in Christ by The Gospel:
Ephesians
4:3-6,16 KJV
3
Endeavoring to keep the unity of The Spirit in the bond of peace.
4
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope
of your calling;
5
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all and in
you all.
16
From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that
which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in
the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the
edifying of itself in love.
Ephesians
5:29,30 KJV
29
For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and
cherisheth it, even as The Lord the church:
30
for we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.
Colossians
1:18-23 KJV
18
And He is The Head Of The Body, The Church: who is The Beginning, The
Firstborn From The Dead ; that in all things He might have the
preeminence.
19
for it pleased The Father that in Him should all fullness dwell;
20
And, having made peace through The Blood Of His cross, by Him to
reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be
things in earth, or things in heaven.
21
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by
wicked works, yet now hath He reconciled
22
In the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and
unblameable and unreproveable in His sight:
23
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved
away from the hope of The Gospel, which ye have heard..."
Colossians
3:15 KJV
And
let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are
called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Prayer:
Hebrews 13:3 KJV
Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

Bible Questions Answered:
“How
do you explain Isaiah 40:31...”
Hunter/
Mildura, South Australia
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
Isaiah
40:31 KJV
They
that wait upon The Lord shall renew their strength; thy shall mount
up with wings as eagles.
This is a metaphor, describing God's people, helping us to understand
our relationship, with our ever present and helping Lord.
The greatest of the fowls, is the mighty eagle.
1)
Mighty, because of it's strength:
The people of God are to noted for their strength;
I
Corinthians 16:13 NLT
Be
on guard. Stand true to what you believe. Be courageous. Be strong.
Galatians
6:9 KJV
And
let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap,
if we faint not.
2)
Mighty Because Of It's Great Sight:
The Christian, receives insight, while upon his knees.
Psalm
95:6 KJV
O
come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before The Lord our
maker.
On his knees, Martyred Stephen, saw Jesus standing at
the right hand of God.
Godly Daniel, on his knees, prayed, facing Jerusalem.
3)
Mighty Because He Rises Up And Above All Else:
Christians are to rise up above, the things of this
world.
Colossians
3:1,2 KJV
If
ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above,
where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
4)
Mighty Because Of It's Longevity:
God's people will live forever.
John
3:14,15 KJV
14
and as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must
The Son Of Man be lifted up:
15
that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal
Life.
John
10:27,28 KJV
27
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me:
28
And I give unto them eternal Life; and they shall never perish,
neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand.
Prayer:
Ephesians
10:6-18 KJV
10
Finally, my brethren, be strong in The Lord, and in the power
of His might.
11
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against
the wiles of the devil.
12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of
this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13
Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able
to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with Truth, and having
on the breastplate of righteousness;
15
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to
quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which
is The Word Of God:
18
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, and
watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all
saints;
