Bible Lesson: Scriptures For
Special Occasions: When Bad Financial Times Comes.
Bible Text:
Job 1:1-22 NLT
1 There once
was a man named Job who lived in the land of Uz. He was blameless—a
man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil.
2 He had seven
sons and three daughters.
3 He owned
7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 teams of oxen, and 500 female donkeys.
He also had many servants. He was, in fact, the richest person in
that entire area.
4 Job’s sons
would take turns preparing feasts in their homes, and they would also
invite their three sisters to celebrate with them.
5 When these
celebrations ended—sometimes after several days—Job would purify
his children. He would get up early in the morning and offer a burnt
offering for each of them. For Job said to himself, “Perhaps my
children have sinned and have cursed God in their hearts.” This was
Job’s regular practice.
Job’s First
Test
6 One day the
members of the heavenly court came to present themselves before The
Lord, and the Accuser, Satan, came with them.
7 “Where have
you come from?” The Lord asked Satan.
Satan answered
The Lord, “I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything
that’s going on.”
8 Then The Lord
asked Satan, “Have you noticed My servant Job? He is the finest man
in all the earth. He is blameless—a man of complete integrity. He
fears God and stays away from evil.”
9 Satan replied
to The Lord, “Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God.
10 You have
always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his
property. You have made him prosper in everything he does. Look how
rich he is!
11 But reach
out and take away everything he has, and he will surely curse you to
your face!”
12 “All
right, you may test him,” The Lord said to Satan. “Do whatever
you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him
physically.” So Satan left The Lord’s presence.
13 One day when
Job’s sons and daughters were feasting at the oldest brother’s
house,
14 a messenger
arrived at Job’s home with this news: “Your oxen were plowing,
with the donkeys feeding beside them,
15 when the
Sabeans raided us. They stole all the animals and killed all the
farmhands. I am the only one who escaped to tell you.”
16 While he was
still speaking, another messenger arrived with this news: “The fire
of God has fallen from heaven and burned up your sheep and all the
shepherds. I am the only one who escaped to tell you.”
17 While he was
still speaking, a third messenger arrived with this news: “Three
bands of Chaldean raiders have stolen your camels and killed your
servants. I am the only one who escaped to tell you.”
18 While he was
still speaking, another messenger arrived with this news: “Your
sons and daughters were feasting in their oldest brother’s home.
19 Suddenly, a
powerful wind swept in from the wilderness and hit the house on all
sides. The house collapsed, and all your children are dead. I am the
only one who escaped to tell you.”
20 Job stood up
and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the
ground to worship.
21 He said,
“I came naked
from my mother’s womb,
and I will
be naked when I leave.
The Lord gave
me what I had,
and The
Lord has taken it away.
Praise the name
of The Lord!”
22 In all of
this, Job did not sin by blaming God.
God's
Blessings On Our Finances:
Deuteronomy 8:18 KJV
But thou shalt remember The Lord thy
God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may
establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this
day.
Deuteronomy 28:6
KJV
Blessed shalt thou be when thou
comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
Deuteronomy
28:11-13 NLT

prosperity in the land He swore to your ancestors to give you,
blessing you with many children, numerous livestock, and abundant
crops.
12 The Lord will send rain at the
proper time from His rich treasury in the heavens and will bless all
the work you do. You will lend to many nations, but you will never
need to borrow from them.
13 If you listen to these commands
of The Lord your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully
obey them, The Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you
will always be on top and never at the bottom.

storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house, and prove Me now
herewith, saith The Lord Of Hosts, if I will not open you the windows
of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room
enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer
for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground;
neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field,
saith The Lord Of Hosts.
12 And all nations shall call you
blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith The Lord Of Hosts.
Matthew 6:33,34
KJV
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of
God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto
you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the
morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Luke 6:38 KJV
Give, and it shall be given unto
you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running
over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that
ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
II Corinthians
8:9 KJV
For ye know the grace of our Lord
Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became
poor, that ye through His poverty might be rich.
II Corinthians
9:6-8 NLT
6 Remember this—a farmer who
plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants
generously will get a generous crop. 7 You must each decide in your
heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response
to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
8 And God will generously provide
all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and
plenty left over to share with others. 9 As the Scriptures say,
“They share freely and give
generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”
Philippians
4:6,7,19 NLT
6 Don’t worry about anything;
instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him
for all He has done.
7 Then you will experience God’s
peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard
your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
19 And this same God who takes care
of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have
been given to us in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
KJV
But my God shall supply all your
need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Dear Christian, put
The Lord, first in your life, and your life will be blessed of The
Lord.

III John 1:2 KJV
Beloved, I wish above all things
that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prosper.

BAPTISM:
Matthew
28:19 KJV
Go
ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of
The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Ghost:
COMMUNION:
I
Corinthians 11:23-25 KJV
23
For I have received of The Lord that which also I delivered unto you,
that The Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took
bread:
24
And when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this
is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me.
25
After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped,
saying, this cup is the new testament in My Blood: this do ye, as oft
as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me.
Baptism, and Communion, are not sacraments, that Is they
“do not,” take away sin, but are symbols of our being made in the
likeness of Christ, and remembering what He has done for us.
Baptism, speaks of the death burial and resurrection of
The Lord Jesus. As Christians, we have, through our repentance and
faith in The Lord, died to sin, under the water in baptism, is a
likeness to that of death, and being raised up out of the water,
from death to self and the world, raised up into newness of life, the
life of The Lord Jesus.
Baptism, by believers, is a picture of what has taken
place in the life of The Lord, and a symbol, of what is taking place
in the life of the believer.
Baptism is a symbol, not a sacrament, people don't get
“born-again,” by being baptized.\
Baptism, is something that born-again people do, because
they have been called to do so by our Lord.
Baptism is a public confession of our faith.
Baptism is only done once, at the beginning of our new
walk with The Lord.
Galatians
2:20 KJV
I
am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ
liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by
the faith of The Son Of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.
Galatians
3:27 KJV
For
as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Galatians
5:24 KJV
And
they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections
and lusts.
Who should be baptized (by immersion, as was our Lord)?
Acts 8:36-38 KJV (Philip and the Eunuch)
36
And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and
the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be
baptized?
37
And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou
mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus
Christ is the Son of God.
38
And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both
into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
Could a baby do this? Of course not, babies are
dedicated to The Lord, not baptized.
Communion, is something done often, a symbol, an
ordinance not a sacrament. Some churches have communion every Sunday,
others once a month.
Communion is “a remembrance” as the apostle
Paul, plainly states.
Communion Bread, speaks of the broken Body of our Lord,
given in sacrifice for us.
Communion Wine, speaks of the shed Blood of our Lord,
given in sacrifice for us.
Are Baptism and, Communion, necessary for salvation? No!
And yet, faithful living Christian people, are commanded
to do them, by our Lord.
The thief on the cross, never had communion, neither
was he ever baptized, and yet our Lord told him...
Luke
23:43 KJV
And
Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with
me in paradise.
Matthew
7:24-27 KJV
24
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them, I
will liken him unto a wise 0
man,
which built his house upon A Rock:
25
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and
beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon A
Rock.
26
And every one that heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them not,
shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the
sand:
27
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and
beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

will happen to the devil?...”

Answer:
Bible Texts:
What will happen to the father of all evil?
The next events on God's calendar are.....
- The Rapture Of The Church Of Jesus Church.
- The Great Tribulation.
- The Millennium. (At the end of the Millennium, Satan's demise, and judgment.)
- The Great White Throne Judgment (of all the lost, Revelation 20:11-15).
- New Heavens And A New Earth.
Before the Millennium, we read in Revelation chapter
twenty what happens to the devil.
Revelation
20:1-3 KJV
1
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the
bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil,
and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3
And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal
upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the
thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed
a little season.
Satan's loosing and judgment, verses 7-10.
7
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of
his prison,
8
And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four
quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to
battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9
And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp
of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from
God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and
brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are (They
had been there over 1,000 years and alive and in torment),
and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

and he were cast into the sea.

And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to
enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell,
into the fire that never shall be quenched:
44
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Hebrews
2:1-3 KJV
1

we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2
For if The Word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every
transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;

first began to be spoken by The Lord, and was confirmed unto us by
them that heard Him;

Bible Lesson: Scriptures For
Special Occasions: When And Why, We Should Be A People Of Love.
Bible Text:
I Corinthians 13:1-13 NLT (Love
Is the Greatest)
1 If I could speak all the languages
of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a
noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
2 If I had the gift of prophecy, and
if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all
knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but
didn’t love others, I would be nothing.
3 If I gave everything I have to the
poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I
didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.
4 Love is patient and kind. Love is
not jealous or boastful or proud
5 or rude. It does not demand its
own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being
wronged.
6 It does not rejoice about
injustice but rejoices whenever The Truth wins out.
7 Love never gives up, never loses
faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
8 Prophecy and speaking in unknown
languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will
last forever!
9 Now our knowledge is partial and
incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the
whole picture!
10 But when the time of perfection
comes, these partial things will become useless.
11 When I was a child, I spoke and
thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away
childish things.
12 Now we see things imperfectly,
like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see
everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and
incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God
now knows me completely.
13 Three things will last
forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.
Love:
Deuteronomy
7:9 NLT
Understand,
therefore, that The Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful
God who keeps His covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes
His unfailing love on those who love Him and obey His commands.
Deuteronomy
10:17-19 KJV
17
For The Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God,
a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh
reward:
18
He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth
the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
19
Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of
Egypt.
Psalm
36:7 KJV
How
excellent is thy loving kindness, O God! therefore the children of
men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
Psalm
63:3 KJV
Because
thy loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
Psalm
136:26 KJV
O
give thanks unto The God Of Heaven: for His mercy endureth for ever.
Jeremiah
31:3 KJV
The
Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee
with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn
thee.
Zephaniah
3:17 KJV
The
Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will
rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy
over thee with singing.
Matthew
22:36-40 KJV
36
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love The Lord thy God with all thy
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38
This is the first and great commandment.
39
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as
thyself.
40
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
John
3:16 KJV
For
God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
life.
John
15:13 KJV
Greater
love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his
friends.
Romans
5:5-8 KJV
5
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad
in our hearts by The Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for
the ungodly.
7
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a
good man some would even dare to die.
8
But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans
8:35,37-39 KJV
35
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or
distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or
sword?
37
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that
loved us.
38
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I
Corinthians 2:9 KJV
But
as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have
entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for
them that love Him.
Ephesians
3:17-19 KJV
17
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted
and grounded in love,
18
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and
length, and depth, and height;
19
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye
might be filled with all the fullness of God.
I
John 3:1 KJV
Behold,
what manner of love The Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should
be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not,
because it knew Him not.
I
John 4:7-10,16 KJV
7
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one
that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God
sent His Only Begotten Son into the world, that we might live through
Him.
10
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent
His Son to be the propitiation (Sacrifice)
for our sins.
16
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is
love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Prayer:
Psalm
86:5 NLT
O
Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love
for all who ask for your help.
Ephesians
5:1,2 KJV
1
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given
Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet
smelling savor.
