Bible Questions Answered:
“...my
brother rejects any teaching of salvation and of the Lord. What
scriptures could I leave with him?...”

Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
Psalm
118:22,23 KJV
22
The Stone which the builders refused is become The Head Stone Of The
Corner.
23
This is the Lord's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
Isaiah
53:3-5 KJV
3
He is despised and rejected of men; A Man Of Sorrows, And Acquainted
With Grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was
despised, and we esteemed Him not.
4
Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did
esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our
iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His
stripes we are healed.
Matthew
25:41-46 KJV
41
Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye
cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42
For I was an hungred, and ye gave Me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye
gave Me no drink:
43
I was a stranger, and ye took Me not in: naked, and ye clothed Me
not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited Me not.
44
Then shall they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an
hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison,
and did not minister unto thee?
45
Then shall He answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as
ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to Me.
46
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the
righteous into life eternal.
Matthew
28:20 KJV
Teaching
them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo,
I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Mark
16:16 KJV
He
that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth
not shall be damned.
John
1:1,10-12 KJV
1
In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The
Word was God.
10
He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world
knew Him not.
11
He came unto His own, and His own received Him not.
12
But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons
of God, even to them that believe on his name:
John
3:16-18 KJV
16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
life.
17
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but
that the world through Him might be saved.
18
He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not
is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of The
Only Begotten Son Of God.
John
14:6,17,21 KJV
6
Jesus saith unto him, I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man
cometh unto The Father, but by Me.
17
Even The Spirit Of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it
seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth
with you, and shall be in you.
21
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth
Me: and he that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will
love him, and will manifest Myself to him.
John
15:26 NLT
“But
I will send you The Advocate—The Spirit Of Truth. He will come to
you from The Father and will testify all about Me.
John
16:13 NLT
When
The Spirit Of Truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will
not speak on His own but will tell you what He has heard. He will
tell you about the future.
Acts
2:38 KJV
Then
Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the
name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive
The Gift Of The Holy Ghost.
Acts
3:19 KJV
Repent
ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,
when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of The
Lord.
Acts
4:12 KJV
Neither
is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under
heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Acts
10:43 NLT
He
is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who
believes in Him will have their sins forgiven through His name.”
Acts
20:21 KJV
Testifying
both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and
faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans
1:16-18,26,27 NLT
16
For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is The Power
Of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also
the Gentile.
17
This Good News tells us how God makes us right in His sight. This is
accomplished from start to finish by faith. As The Scriptures say,
“It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”
God’s
Anger at Sin
18
But God shows His anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people
who suppress The Truth by their wickedness.
26
That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the
women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged
in sex with each other.
27
And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women,
burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other
men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the
penalty they deserved.
Romans
2:4,5,7,8 NLT
4
Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is
with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that His
kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?
5
But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you
are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger
is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.
7
He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking
after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers.
8
But He will pour out His anger and wrath on those who live for
themselves, who refuse to obey The Truth and instead live lives of
wickedness.
Romans
3:23 KJV
For
all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans
4:5,7 KJV
5
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the
ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
7
Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose
sins are covered.
Romans
5:8 KJV
But
God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 8:1-39 NLT (Life in The Spirit)
8
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.
2
And because you belong to Him, the power of The Life-Giving Spirit
has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.
3
The Law Of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our
sinful nature. So God did what The Law could not do. He sent His Own
Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God
declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving His Son as A
Sacrifice for our sins.
4
He did this so that the just requirement of The Law would be fully
satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead
follow The Spirit.
5
Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful
things, but those who are controlled by The Holy Spirit think about
things that please The Spirit.
6
So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But
letting The Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.
7
For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey
God’s laws, and it never will.
8
That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful
nature can never please God.
9
But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled
by The Spirit if you have The Spirit Of God living in you. (And
remember that those who do not have The Spirit Of Christ living in
them do not belong to Him at all.)
10
And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die
because of sin, The Spirit gives you life because you have been made
right with God.
11
The Spirit Of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And
just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to
your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
12
Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do
what your sinful nature urges you to do.
13
For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the
power of The Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature,
you will live.
14
For all who are led by The Spirit of God are children of God.
15
So you have not received A Spirit that makes you fearful slaves.
Instead, you received God’s Spirit when He adopted you as His own
children. Now we call Him, “Abba, Father.”
16
For His Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s
children.
17
And since we are His children, we are His heirs. In fact, together
with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his
glory, we must also share His suffering.
(The
Future Glory)
18
Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory He will
reveal to us later.
19
For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will
reveal who His children really are.
20
Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But
with eager hope,
21
the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s
children in glorious freedom from death and decay.
22
For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of
childbirth right up to the present time.
23
And we believers also groan, even though we have The Holy Spirit
within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies
to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope
for the day when God will give us our full rights as His adopted
children, including the new bodies He has promised us.
24
We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have
something, we don’t need to hope for it.
25
But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait
patiently and confidently.)
26
And The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t
know what God wants us to pray for. But The Holy Spirit prays for us
with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
27
And The Father who knows all hearts knows what The Spirit is saying,
for The Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own
will.
28
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good
of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for
them.
29
For God knew His people in advance, and He chose them to become like
His Son, so that His Son would be The Firstborn among many brothers
and sisters.
30
And having chosen them, He called them to come to Him. And having
called them, He gave them right standing with Himself. And having
given them right standing, He gave them His glory.
Nothing
Can Separate Us from God’s Love
31
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for
us, who can ever be against us?
32
Since He did not spare even His Own Son but gave Him up for us all,
won’t He also give us everything else?
33
Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for His own? No one—for God
Himself has given us right standing with Himself.
34
Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and
was raised to life for us, and He is sitting in the place of honor at
God’s Right Hand, pleading for us.
35
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean He
no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted,
or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?
36
(As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we
are being slaughtered like sheep.”)
37
No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through
Christ, who loved us.
38
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s
love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our
fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers
of hell can separate us from God’s love.
39
No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in
all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God
that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Corinthians 2:14 KJV
But
the natural man receiveth not the things of The Spirit Of God: for
they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they
are spiritually discerned.
I
Corinthians 6:9,10 NLT
9
Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the
Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual
sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male
prostitutes, or practice homosexuality,
10
or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or
cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.

Corinthians 14:33 KJV
For
God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches
of the saints.
Galatians
1:6-9 KJV
6
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into
the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would
pervert The Gospel Of Christ.
8
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto
you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9
As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other
gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Galatians
3:26 KJV
For
ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians
1:3,4 KJV
3
Blessed be The God And Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath
blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4
According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the
world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:
Ephesians
2:8,9 KJV
8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is The Gift Of God:

And
grieve not The Holy Spirit Of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day

Colossians
1:16 KJV
For

Colossians
2:9,12 NLT
9
For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.
12
For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with Him
you were raised to new life because you trusted The Mighty Power Of
God, Who raised Christ from the dead.

Thessalonians 1:7-9 KJV
7
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when The Lord Jesus shall
be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,

1:3 NLT
The
Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of
God, and He sustains everything by the mighty power of His command.

Hebrews
2:3 KJV
How

Hebrews
10:26-31 NLT
26
Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have
received knowledge of The Truth, there is no longer any sacrifice
that will cover these sins.
27
There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the
raging fire that will consume His enemies.
28
For anyone who refused to obey The Law of Moses was put to death
without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
29
Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have
trampled on The Son Of God, and have treated The Blood Of The
Covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and
have insulted and disdained The Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy
to us.
30
For we know the one who said, “I will take revenge. I will pay them
back.” He also said, “The Lord will judge His own people.”
31
It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of The Living God.

Peter 2:8,24 NLT
8
And, “He is The Stone that makes people stumble, The Rock that

Peter 2:4 NLT
For
God did not spare even the angels who sinned. He threw them into

Peter 3:9,15,16 NLT
9
The Lord isn’t really being slow about His promise, as some people
think. No, He is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone
to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.
15
And remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved.
This is what our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you with the
wisdom God gave him—
16
speaking of these things in all of his letters. Some of his comments
are hard to understand, and those who are ignorant and unstable have
twisted his letters to mean something quite different, just as they
do with other parts of Scripture. And this will result in their
destruction.

John 2:1-3,23 KJV
1
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.
And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with The Father, Jesus Christ
the righteous:
