“I am new in the Christian faith, what is expected of me...”
Sheila/ North Richland Hills, Texas U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Christian Responsibility:

Deuteronomy 6:6-9 KJV
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be a frontlet between thine eyes.
9 and thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Deuteronomy 11:18-20 KJV
18 Therefore shall ye lay up these My Words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:

Proverbs 22:4,6 KJV
4 By humility and the fear of The Lord are riches, and honor, and Life.
6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Micah 6:8 KJV
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth The Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Matthew 5:13-16 KJV
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they man see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 10:42 KJV
And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

Matthew 25:35-40 KJV
35 For I was an hungered, and ye gave Me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me drink I was a stranger, and ye took Me in:
367 Naked, and ye clothed Me: I was sick, and ye visited Me: I was in prison, and ye came unto Me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? Or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And The King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me.

Mark 16:15 KJV
And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach The Gospel to every creature.

Luke 3;10,11 KJV
10 And the people asked Him, saying, What shall we do then?
11 He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.

Acts 1:8 KJV
But ye shall receive power, after that The Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Galatians 6:1-6 NLT
1 Dear brothers and sisters, if another Christian is overcome by some sin, you who re Godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.
2 Share each other's troubles and problems, and in this way obey the law of Christ.
3 If you think you are too important to help someone in need, you are only fooling yourself. You are really a nobody.
4 Be sure to do what you should, for then you will enjoy the personal satisfaction of having done your work well, and you won't need to compare yourself to anyone else.
5 For we are each responsible for our own conduct.
6 Those who are taught The Word Of God should help their teachers by paying them.

I Timothy 5;8 KJV
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Hebrew 6:10-12 KJV
10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have showed toward His name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises

James 2:15-17 KJV
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; not with standing ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

I John 3:16-18, 22,23 KJV
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
22 and whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
23 And this is His commandment, that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

Prayer:

Hebrews 13:20,21 KJV
20 Now The God Of Peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd Of The Sheep, through The Blood Of The Everlasting Covenant,
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Bible Lesson: Scriptures For Special Occasions: Worried Of Danger

Bible Text:

Psalm 34:1-22 KJV
1 I will bless The Lord at all times:His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in The Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify The Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.
4 I sought The Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They look unto Him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and The Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The Angel Of The Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them.
8 O taste and see that The Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him.
9 O fear The Lord, ye His saints: for there is no want to them that fear Him.
10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek The Lord shall not want any good thing.
11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of The Lord.
12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good: seek peace, and pursue it.
15 The eyes of The Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face of The Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry, and The Lord heareth and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but The Lord delivereth him out of them all.
20 He keepeth all His bones: not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of His servants: and none of them that trust in Him shall be desolate.

How true the words...

Psalm 22:3 KJV
But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

1 I will bless The Lord at all times:His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
For the person who lives close to The Lord, he will know of the help of The Lord!

6 This poor man cried, and The Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

Hebrews 13;5 KJV
...For He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

7 The Angel Of The Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them.
9 O fear The Lord, ye His saints: for there is no want to them that fear Him.
10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek The Lord shall not want any good thing.

Psalm 23:1 KJV
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.

Psalm 145:16 KJV
Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

Does The Lord hear me when I pray? Yes, if you are a child of God, living faithfully to Him!

15 The eyes of The Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry.

David knew what it was to be kept by The Lord, whether on the field or in a cave, and we will too, if we are truly God's child!

Psalm 91:1-16 KJV
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of The Most High shall abide under the shadow of The Almighty.
2 I will say of The Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.
3 Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His Truth shall be
thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth ant noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and then thousand at they right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou has made The Lord, which is my refuge, even The Most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and, adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because He hath set His love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.
16 Wit long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Are worry and danger dogging you? Then the safe place to be is....

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of The Most High shall abide under the shadow of The Almighty.
2 I will say of The Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.

It has been said, to be in someone's shadow, means, we must be very close to them!
The only true place of refuge or fortress, is our Living God, and He protects all who come to Him.

2 I will say of The Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.
4 He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His Truth shall be
thy shield and buckler (protection).

If we are faithful to The Word, we may claim The Word.

9 Because thou has made The Lord, which is my refuge, even The Most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Prayer:

Joshua 1:9 KJV
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for The Lord thy God is with thee whither soever thou goest.

Psalm 9:10 KJV
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

Bible Questions Answered:
“Are all peoples, races the same before God?...”
Essie/ Lagos, Nigeria Africa

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

There is no racial discrimination, with The Lord! All of humanity is equal in His fathomless love and goodness.

Genesis 1:28 KJV
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air,and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Mankind has been fruitful and replenished the earth, and all mankind, comes from “one,” beginning.

Acts 17:26 KJV
And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

All of mankind has but one origin, Adam and Eve.

But just like Adam and Eve, all of humanity is under the curse of judgment and sin.

Romans 3:23 KJV
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

John 3:16 KJV
For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting Life.

II Peter 3:9 KJV
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Our Lord, in His love of all nations says to His people.....

Matthew 28:19 KJV
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Ghost:

Peter learned The Truth:

Acts 10:9-16,28 KJV (Read all of Acts chapter 10)
9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the house top to pray about the sixth hour:
10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
12 Wherein were all manner of four footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
16 this was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

No exceptions, “all nations,” are to be evangelized.

Revelation 5:9 KJV (The Redeemed)
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for Thou was slain, and hast redeemed us to God by Thy Blood out of every kindred , and tongue, and people, and nation;

Jesus Loves The Little Children

all the children of the world.
Red and Yellow, Black and White
they are precious in His sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world.

He created us all, and He loves us all!

Bible Lesson: Conversations With Jesus: The Comforter Promised.

Bible Text:

John 14:15-18,26 KJV
15 If ye love Me, keep My commandments.
16 And I will pray The Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever.
17 Even The Spirit Of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
26 But The Comforter, which is The Holy Ghost, whom The Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to our remembrance, Whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 15:26 KJV
But when The Comforter is come, when I will send unto you from The Father, even The Spirit Of Truth, which proceedeth from The Father, He shall testify of Me:

John 16:6-15 KJV
6: But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
7 Nevertheless I tell you The Truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, The Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you.
8 And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on Me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to My Father, and ye see Me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when He,The Spirit Of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will sew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify Me: for He shall receive of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.
15 All things that The Father hath are Mine: therefore said I, that He shall take of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Jesus told His disciples, concerning The Holy Spirit, "...He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."
John 14:17 KJV.

Again, He promised His followers;

Acts 1:8 KJV
But ye shall receive power, after The Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

On the fiftieth day after Passover, came the day of Pentecost.
One hundred and twenty followers of The Lord Jesus had been fasting, praying and singing praises to The Lord (Psalm 146-150) for 10 days, seeking the coming of God The Holy Spirit.

Acts 1:13,14 KJV
13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brethren.

Acts 2:1-4 KJV
1 and when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with The Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as The Spirit gave them utterance.

Please read and understand:

This was a twofold event.
#1 The infilling of God The Holy Spirit, into the lives of believers.
#2 The empowering of believers with the power of God The Holy Spirit.

#1
I Corinthians 12:13 KJV (The Apostle Paul)
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews, or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

All Christians are baptized into The Spirit Of God!, How do we know that, The Word, says so!

#2
Luke 24:49 KJV (The Lord Jesus Christ)
And, behold, I send the promise of My Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

Question:
Are all Christians baptized in The Spirit, today?

Answer:
Yes, The Bible say so, I Corinthians 12:13 KJV!

Question:
Are all Christians endued with power of The Holy Spirit?

Answer:
No. The disciples had waited upon the coming of God The Holy Spirit for 10 days, in prayer, and all supplications. They were empowered by The Holy Spirit.

People who turn to The Lord, repent of their sins and are baptized, are children of God, baptized into The Lord's body, by The Holy Spirit.

But being endued with power from The Holy Spirit requires some things.
  1. The desire (spiritual seeking) to be endued with The Spirit's power, the use of which is for the help, healing and liberating of others.
  2. Waiting upon Him, in prayer and supplication, in the spirit of holiness.
  3. To do without fear, the will and work (Great Commission- Mark 16:15-18) of God.
All Christians are baptized into The Holy Spirit, yes, but not all, take time to seek after the enduement of power, of The Holy Spirit.

I Corinthians 12:29-31 NLT
29 Is everyone an apostle? Of course not. Is everyone a prophet? No. Are all teachers? Does everyone have the power to do miracles?
30 Does everyone have the gift of healing? Of course not. Does God give all of us the ability to speak in unknown languages? Can everyone interpret unknown languages? No!

And yet the infilling and mighty power, of The Holy Spirit, is available to all, yet today!

Acts 2:38,39 KJV
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive The Gift of The Holy Ghost.
39 for the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as The Lord our God shall call.

The Comforter Has Come

Oh, spread the tidings ’round, wherever man is found,
Wherever human hearts and human woes abound;
Let every Christian tongue proclaim the joyful sound:
The Comforter has come!

Refrain:
The Comforter has come, the Comforter has come!
The Holy Ghost from Heav’n, the Father’s promise giv’n;
Oh, spread the tidings ’round, wherever man is found—
The Comforter has come!

The long, long night is past, the morning breaks at last,
And hushed the dreadful wail and fury of the blast,
As o’er the golden hills the day advances fast!
The Comforter has come!

Lo, the great King of kings, with healing in His wings,
To every captive soul a full deliv’rance brings;
And through the vacant cells the song of triumph rings;
The Comforter has come!

O boundless love divine! How shall this tongue of mine
To wond’ring mortals tell the matchless grace divine—
That I, a child of hell, should in His image shine!
The Comforter has come!

Sing till the echoes fly above the vaulted sky,
And all the saints above to all below reply,
In strains of endless love, the song that ne’er will die:
The Comforter has come!
