Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
No, we will never
reach perfection in this life, but doing our very best, we must. How
could we do any less for The One who has given His all for you and
me?
Thousands of
individuals around our world, unknown by us, suffer and die every
year, because they are Christians. What does our faith cost us? Are
we daily taking up our cross and following the Savior?
Matthew 10:22 KJV
And ye shall be
hated of all men for My name's sake: but he that endureth to the end
shall be saved.

will cost you everything!
Job 11:13-15 KJV
13 If thou
prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward Him;
14 If iniquity
be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in
thy tabernacles.
15 For then
shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be
steadfast, and shalt not fear:

Luke 14:25-30,33 NLT Jesus
25 A large
crowd was following Jesus. He turned around and said to them,
26 “If you
want to be My disciple, you must, by comparison, hate everyone
else—your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and
sisters—yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be My
disciple.
27 And if you
do not carry your own cross and follow Me, you cannot be My disciple.
28 “But don’t
begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a
building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough
money to finish it?
29 Otherwise,
you might complete only the foundation before running out of money,
and then everyone would laugh at you.
30 They would
say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t
afford to finish it!’
33 So you
cannot become My disciple without giving up everything you own.
Acts 2:42 KJV
And they
continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and

3 We can
rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that
they help us develop endurance.
4 And endurance
develops strength of character, and character strengthens our
confident hope of salvation.
5 And this hope
will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us,
because He has given us The Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His
love.

come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of The Son Of
God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the
fullness of Christ:
14 That we
henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about
with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning
craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Philippians 1:27
KJV

II Thessalonians
2:2,3,15 NLT
2 Don’t be so
easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that
the day of The
Lord has already begun. Don’t believe them, even if they claim to
have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly
from us.
3 Don’t be
fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a
great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is
revealed—the one who brings destruction.
15 With all
these things in mind, dear brothers and sisters, stand firm and keep
a strong grip on the teaching we passed on to you both in person and
by letter.

35 Cast not
away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of
reward.
36 For ye have
need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might
receive the promise.
James 1:12 KJV
Blessed is the
man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive
the crown of Life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love

I Peter 5:8,9
KJV
8 Be sober, be
vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion,
walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist
steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are
accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
II Peter 1:5-7
ESV
5 For this very
reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and

Great
Is Thy Faithfulness
Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been, Thou for ever will be
Chorus;
Great is thy faithfulness
Great is thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed thy hand hath provided
Great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To thy great faithfulness, mercy and love
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside
