perplexing question, and the reasons no doubt may be various.
- God is teaching us a lesson, patience, trust, faith, etc. etc.
- God is disciplining us.
- God is using the fire of affliction to try us, so that we come forth as pure gold.
- God is causing us to totally rely upon Him.
- God is revealing His timing .
- God is showing the enemy, our faith is real.
- Etc. etc. etc.
