Hebrews 6:4-6 KJV
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of The Heavenly Gift, and were made partakers of The Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted The Good Word Of God, and The Powers Of The World To Come,
(Of what people is this a description? Of course, it is a description of a Christian!)
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves The Son Of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame.
“Once saved, always saved?”
That is what some would tell you, but just saying that by itself is not true!
That statement is true, and it is false.
It is absolutely true if a Christian with all of his heart is living for The Lord, and will always continue to do so!
It is absolutely false if a Christian goes back on his faith and with seared conscience belittles, defames, and blasphemes the things of God.
John 10:28,29 KJV
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand.
29 My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand.
What about these words of Jesus? How true, no man may pluck a Christian life from the hands of God!
But these words do not address the issue of someone taking themselves out of the hand of God!
As moral beings we have the right to decide for or against The Lord.

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
