Prayerlessness
Bible Questions Answered:
“...the Christian life seems to be a
struggle...”
Thelma/
Bible Answer:'
Bible Texts:
The old saying
was, if you want to be successful in business, be around successful
business people, observe them, and do what they do, etc. True of music,
cooking, sports, whatever the subject.
Business Axiom:
“Your success depends upon the circle of friends you surround
yourself with.”
Often Christians
are dejected and forlorn, because they have “not,” surrounded
themselves with their Savior and Lord.
Prayerlessness,
the fault of many a Christian, and one that may be remedied so
easily.
Prayerlessness:
Psalm
53:4 NLT
Will
those who do evil never learn? They eat up My people like bread and
wouldn’t think of praying to God.
Isaiah
43:21,22 NLT
21
I have made Israel for Myself, and they will someday honor Me before
the whole world.
22
“But, dear family of Jacob, you refuse to ask for My help You
have grown tired of Me, O Israel!
Isaiah
64:6,7 KJV
6
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are
as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities,
like the wind, have taken us away.
7
And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up
himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us,
and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
Daniel
9:13,14 NLT
13
Every curse written against us in the Law of Moses has come true. Yet
we have refused to seek mercy from The Lord our God by turning
from our sins and recognizing His Truth.
14
Therefore, The Lord has brought upon us the disaster He prepared. The
Lord our God was right to do all of these things, for we did not obey
Him.
Zephaniah
1:6 NLT
And
I will destroy those who used to worship Me but now no longer do.
They no longer ask for The Lord’s guidance or seek My
blessings.”
If we feel defeated, it is because we have not been in
the presence of our Lord, for in His presence is victory!
I
Chronicles 29:11 KJV
Thine,
O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the
victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the
earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as
head above all.
I
Corinthians 15:57 KJV
But
thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus
Christ.
If we wish to be over coming Christians, we must
surround ourselves with The Lord Jesus (in prayer), and Victorious
Christian people.
Psalm
91:1,2 KJV
1
He that dwelleth in the secret place of The Most High shall abide
under the shadow of The Almighty.
2
I will say of The Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress: my God; in
Him will I trust.
Dear Christian, are you under “the shadow of the The
Almighty”?
We must be “close,” to The Savior, if we are to
be in His shadow!
Axiom: “Your success depends upon the circle of
friends, you surround yourself with.”
As Christians we must stay close (In prayer) to The
Lord, for our over coming victory!
