Bible Answer:
Bible Text:
Genesis 5:3-5 NLT
3 When Adam was 130 years old, he
became the father of a son who was just like him—in his very image.
He named his son Seth.
4 After the birth of Seth, Adam
lived another 800 years, and he had other sons and
daughters.
5 Adam lived 930 years, and then he
died.
How many children
did Adam and Eve have? No one knows, but certainly it was many.
Cain, without doubt
married on of his sisters.
No, this was not
incest in his day.
Incest:
Moral sin, sexual
intercourse between persons too closely related to marry legally.

Dictionary
Moses Day:
Old Testament
Sexual Laws found in Leviticus 18 & 20 (also Deuteronomy 22:30;
27:20,22,23).
Theses laws did
not exist in Adam's day.
Before the law,
Moses' own father Amram, married his aunt, his father's sister, named
Jochebed.
Exodus 6:20 NLT
Amram married his father’s sister
Jochebed, and she gave birth to his sons, Aaron and Moses..."
One reason for laws
against incest today is, other than the obvious of morality,
congenital birth defects caused by inbreeding. Inbreeding in the
early days of Adam's time, brought with it no genetic damage, but by
Moses day, there was no question, for civilization to continue, it
must stop, and God put and end to it.
There would have
been no population on the earth, had not Cain married a sister of his
day.
Obviously this
condition was never intended to go on for ever, and it did not!

Romans 11:33 KJV
O the depth of the riches both of
the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments,
and His ways past finding out!
